  1. I would want it this season for them. If they dont get any until next season (if ever of course) thye could go up and get another load of parachute payments. The FL clubs voting for an extra years para payments and Sullivan and Gold pushing for it makes me hope WHu go down. They were so desperate to stay up they did anything to support them and then when they get relegated they then accuse Pompey of cheating. Double standards me thinks
  2. it is on whole litres only as well, i think you will find
  3. I sickens to read that Phil.Of course all those moral crusaders can hold their heads up as the French Us or whoever reap the rewards of jobs and profits. Different cultures do things differently and 'when in Rome' etc etc. I would love all of these contracts to e on an even playing field but to not understand they are not is naive at best.60 billion ,what a sad loss of income
  4. ask him how he feels about LM after he was Taylors number 2 and overlooked him for Geoff Thomas, just when he was one of the best in the country
  5. Do you believe any of the revenues are still there? Afterall you were told that AA was going to have to stall any wages as you had run out of money to pay them. I dont know when the tv money comes in but any revenue up to this week end is gone /spent

well lets get a keeper who can diostribute but not so good at stopping goals. At the same time get a winger who doesnt beat as many players but can take a throw in. On saturday I saw a fan berate Davis and then a few around him put him in his place. KD is not the best keeper i have seen play for saints but he is a very good goalkeeper who has time and again saved us points. The defence know he isn't coming for the ball and so their job is to deal with the crosses coming in. The distribution thing comes 2 ways of course, how many times do defenders pass back and put him under pressure? he then has to send the ball into touch. He is like many other players, there are polarised opinions. i myself wish Bart luck when he comes in, but if the couple of times i saw him recently I fear for us. Anyone who went to Exeter in the league cup a couple of seasons back would have seen the most comical and alarming display EVER of a Saints keeper. I have seen a few and this was by far the worst. 1 match , yes but I doubt you would risk him catching a cold on that display. if he comes in then i won't hope he fails, but as always support the players ther best i can

Im not sure that the manager thinks as much. When i listened to Adkins on Solent he did not give him a ringing endorsement. He said something on the lines that he is paid to save those and then mentioned his mistake with Fonte. Did not say anything really positive like managers have in the past, whilst he took every opportunity to praise the likes of LB etc. KD is probably in his last season as first choice and so i'd expect another to be in goal next season. Many on here don't rate him, they expect Joe Hart, with a bit of Van Der Saar,Pat Jennings, and Bert Trautmann to be in our side lol
  8. Sorry if it comes out that way, because i promise you I don't feel smug. I have just felt that there were too many interested parties who desperately needed this to be pushed under the carpet and wished away. There must be many people in world football whose dirty laundry could come to the surface for the truth to come out. IMO that is one of the reasons so much has been done to help them. Add to that the so called integrity of the PL being of utmost importance to them, has also helped their cause. I don't believe the PL wouldn't welcome them back as they in theory have been cleansed.Lol Time will tell whether coming out of the protection of Administration was a clever move. I do wonder that AA was getting a tad concerned that he was likely to become liable for any debts and so pushed Chanrai to do so. Who will lend them money now??? If they went back into admin would Chanrai lose his secured creditor status?
  9. Can someone explain why AA is still running the club now they are not in admin?
  10. I doubt it, there are not that many who are as deluded out there
  11. not my point, watching saints for 40 + years it has always seemed the case that any team on a terrible run, not scored, change manager and it is us who open the floodgates. Just a perception Im sure and \I hope to be proved wrong saturday.
  12. 'Messrs UHY Hacker Young, and will continue to trade outside of Administration.' Just read that and is that a normal practice for administrators. Or is it a case that in doing so they are no longer liable for debts incurred as they would be if they were still in Admin?
  13. not against mot clubs perhaps, but time and again against us it seems to be the recipe for a good start
  14. no he didn't but does that make you the best player if you win a free kick????
  15. Notts co sack manager on SSN so here we go again. New manager against us and a win
  16. The love in with Morgan surprises much the same as the slating of Puncheon on yesterdays performance. Morgan is a tidy midfielder playing in L1. He rarely makes a defence splitting pass and gets booked quite often. Yes he does add aggression but I can't see why he is so lauded about. Lambert is not right at present but I dont think dropping him is the right thing to do.He will come good and the club relying on his goals was always a folly. Why not pick on LB if you want to talk about lack of goals. Yes LB runs for us but again he cannot outrun a defence and does not have a good repore with RL. When AL and RL are close together they both perk up and have an instant pairing.Yesterday AL was put wide and could not get into the game, that made us ineffective. Adkins subs proved me wrong but I was amazed when he took Punch and Lambert off, and when he put on PW wel!!!!!This is from a manager who talks passing the ball Lol.Guly should have stayed on as he was running the show and Oldham were on the back foot,as soon as he went off they could come forward. Chamberlain looked great but I hope that he is not rushed too soon.Although his pace is just what wew need. Kelvin saved us 2 points by the way, for all those who knock him.
  17. Puncheon was the only attacking threat we had in the first half, and probably our best player
  18. it was like watching the Graet train robbery unfolding in front of your eyes and the authorities not answering the 999 call. So sadly 'pompey will get away with ' has morphed to 'pompey got away with it' I now await the smug crew return. As I said to Phil yesterday it is vomit time form now on. As they go and push on for promotion with a damned good squad. the only thing may be that Stoke may get a decent bid for Lawrence and they dont go through with his transfer. The FL showed no balls and again I said that the ex Leicester chairman who would be mates with MM at the top instead of Malwinney played into their hands as well.
  19. i understand they have costs to run the business, but what are the rewards if it comes off? Iam as bewildered as anyone to why/how they have got through but it seems they have/will. It seems that Gaydamek is backing off and doesn't want to hold it up.One thing in this is that i know if SSN put anything on thier ticker they are guessing like the rest of us. They know about as much as we do it seems.
  20. I dont see where you say Chanrai does not have the money. The last time they went up MM threw about 5m at it, i dare say at present the same in jan would do the same. They have won 4 in 5 and look far too strong for the majority of weak sides in that league. To me it seems a punt worth taking. The PL money is so vast now that being a memeber of the club makes even that club with no assets a propostion for an investor. So in a way i agree that it is a flip deal but a very worthwhile gamble. Of course if they lose today and the next game it will not look so good. That is why I felt they were going to try and limp on until december and then take a view.
  21. Phil i disagree ,i believe we are about to face the real vomit time. MM will come back they will strengthen and go on a promotion push and get the PL riches. It is so like the last time they went up, all the other clubs in disarray and them with a good squad and money to push their way up. When back in the PL they will then have big paydays to fund development. You have to hold your hand up and say that AA is very good at what he does and that doing anything honest in football is a fools game. Pompey know that both the PL or FL worry more about having the fixtures played than integrity, and uses that to their advantage. it is shamful, but I suppose if it was not Pompey we would not be so interested. We are a small pool of fans who do give a f###, the rest of football look at them as victims. it is laughable how thick and shallow the average football fan is.
  22. visit the Biltmore hotel for sunday brunch. Fantastic. Apparently Al Capone rented the whole top floor to live in. Some fantastic malls to shop and only an hour from the Florida keys. As for working there....not sure, it gets uncomfortable hot in the summer months
  23. considering they are more likely to own a pony for pulling the caravans, it is surprising that the accusation is pointed to us
  24. always a rise to apply pressure on the FL. MM will rejoin and the 3 amigos will be hand in hand.
  25. 'particularly where the payment is being demanded by one of the authors of the club’s current circumstances.' interesting how they are putting blame of the debt to his door. That statement was written in auch a cynical way Lol. The FL have obviously accepted the deal and the 4 point have been waived or approved.
