I personally would love to have 1 kop end where all the singing fans congregated and gave the team fantastic backing.I cant think of another group of fans who are happier being divided around the ground.Even the Fratton end is away from the away fans. I suggest the ones wanting to stay in the same place try a different stand.I have sat in the Itchen corner and you cant hear the Northam due to the away fans. The same being if you sit in the Northam you cant hear the Itchen.Obviously you can when the away support is small but generally when the away fans are singing you cant hear them. All together in 1 place and we'd be superb. Hence why Liverpool Man u Villa and even Pompey get lauded for their atmospheres is because there i one co,plete end that gets the place rocking. It needs to change and we can go back to the Milton or even the Archers days , with one group of ans really getting the place going. If it meant going to th chapel one and all Id be for it

So, why DID Mark Fry prefer Pinnacle over Liebherr?
OldNick replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
and IMHO perhaps which Fry you'd like to choose to pick -
and of course employ 30 people to advise them on climate change in the Northam concourse

I feel quite uplifted after reading al ot of the posts on here.

Sorry to p### on your bonfire but the council will not even consider it as there are no traffic lights in the stadium.Unless they can put up at least 10 sets of state of the art traffic lights and put in cycle lanes we have not a hope

It was never clear hpow much Pinnacle paid for exclusivity.Fry Pinnacle etc only alluded to a dposit paid, never did they say it was 500k. I believe it is human nature to dwell if it means that the earnings will be higher if you do so. Fry got lucky by ML keeping his interest, I doubt there would be many fawning to him on here if he had kept Pinnacle and we had no club now. Fry had a duty to get the best he could for hiscreditors BUT he nearly ****ed that up. I would love ot know his fees, they would be eye watering. he will be toasting us yet again when his bonusses come in. -
those 2 points lost ultimately made a massive difference to us as well.
-
Does anyone else think he runs a bit like Beckham? If we could find another winner in midfield like him we will certainly start to do well. The defence is looking intimidating, get a midfielder with hammond (although his 2 footed tackles worry me) and a goalscorer and we are sorted.

That was you with the big box of Kleenex then MB?
-
he is doing some light training with us, has been recovering from a hip(?) injury, . I think AP will assess the situation and see whether to take him on
-
Im surprised as oit doesnt have bewbs
-
Imo as an outsider he played poker and lost. He I beleive thought RL needed him and that by saying he was resigning that would give more power if RL asked him to stay.RL accepted the resignation and LM had been cut away. A misjudgement IMO. A great manager for us and he will always have a place in my thoughts due to those days.Fantastic, and had he had a board who backed him fully we may have had even more glory.

well how about the update on s/t sales. Your mate at the club had told you that they were at 12500 and would make in excess of the season befores 13500 to perhaps 16k. Now my contact had it at below 10k who was closest? I fully understand why the figures have fallen but it would be great if you actually stopped all the flannel and gave it as it is.No shame in being honest you know.
-
well how about comparing them to us at Carslisle and you at villa saturday
-
Yeah you'd love that . lol

Is it a case that due to lack of pace that James is not willing to get to the byeline to cross as he is concerned at getting back to defend. I preferred it when he moved back to right back where he is more effective going forward
-
I agree he is going to be a fans favourite
-
He still walked, as i say a hero to me until he upped sticks.Did very little since then for me to forgive. As he also went back to his spiritual home.If he had been a success there i doubt he would have given us more than a passing interest now.

Well Weston unless Clapham comes on and tells me that the administrator could not be paid then I will hold onto my belief on this.
-
The company had assets that it could sell. The administrator ALWAYS had the ground and the rest of the squad to sell, whether it be a grand each to cover his costs at the end. He only scratched the surface by selling AS DMG to keep the football club going, if it was a final wind up there were assets and money for him to take hs fees from.
-
its amazing that this super striker who scores slightly less than 1 in 2 or 1 in 3.5 games (depending on which distorted stat you want) could not be sold or gien away in a firesale. All those PL CCC La Liga scouts etc must have had the summer off. He is overrated by a percentage of a L1 clubs fanbase, sadly the people who need to rate him dont as he is still here. Saga go and prove us wrong, after all he was going to score fun in L1
-
Weston Im sorry I dont take that as being correct. There is no way the administrator would not get paid.It is an impossibility as they get access to the funds raised.Clapham will be able to clarify it exactly but IMO there is no way administrators are ever left unpaid.
-
why dont they do the book signing pre match at Pompey they might then fill the ground
-
im not a fan of Saga and you have got it right there.I will admit he did chase the odd lost cause but it was interesting how AP gve a criticism of how Lambert was not supported. I do hope we have notmissed the boat in ridding ourselves of him and we can get someone in
-
he had pace that frightened the oppostion, he had enthusiasm and he showed he had some trickery.Yes he got caught offside, but this is L1 and so we dont need Ronaldo, he may well be another threat to add to the side and perhaps will help free up some space for lambert who is getting little help from his other strike partner.
