  1. I think Victor suggested Gary Speed. i know he has no experience but he is bright and could become a good manager
  2. Lol, a bit late Stanley. If we have no choice than Rl or folding for good then i would have to say the former, although it would be a difficult choice.
  3. In most cases id agree but on this occasion
  4. I think DT mentioned the Candy brothers who are seriously wealthy. That would take us back to the Guernsey connection regarding Blue Water properties and chelsea barracks development, and of course MLT's home IFit was them you are talking serious dough, more dough than Mr Kipling on overtime
  5. the wonders of modern stretchy material no doubt.Thank god for NASA technology
  6. I was against admin but I think something will happen that is better than you worry about Mick. If nothing has happened over the bank holiday then it is time to really bite the fingernails
  7. So was Jonathan Ross and his claims about that girl, wasnt true though. But thanks for the link
  8. That could be the case and perhaps valid. If so it is amusing how everyone thought that RL etc were trying to do deals only to get it Lol. of course RL, LC ,MW would have known this
  9. I strange story. If MC told you it could be right I suppose.A bit odd though as i would have thought no creditor is allowed preferential treatment.
  10. As i said it was only if the party who rated him got the bid accepted.I got the impression the people who would install him are not that flush with funds.I hope it would be somebody with good resources who win the day
  11. I do hope that Norwich go down after he got involved. Are they financially secure ti would be amusing if they now went into admin if they do go down.Lol
  12. I think HMRC are not first in the queue any longer. They will though not agree to a CVA without being paid.I was told some weeks ago that the club had paid its liabilities to them , but of course since then more would have become due
  13. Iam forwarding what i heard last night in Bournemouth. The information has come from someone having no connection with anybody at SFC but someone who is connected in football circles. This will only happen if one particular consortium gets the club and so they have to win the bidding for this to happen. He has been mentioned loads of times on here and seen at the club for months now.He lives in Christchurch . Steve Cotterill. Dont shoot the messenger. Iam very confident of the person who told me and has no need to lie.
  14. I would think you should bring it along.
  15. This is an outrage and smells of a dirty tricks campaign.Yellow shirts and grey shorts just does not work and I can see real unrest in my teams camp.It will look naff in the photos. Not happy about this.I think the club should donate a full set of shorts to match the shirts as it will look poor and the team who are trooping out onto the pitch will lose a little of the nights experience as the spectators will be taking the rip.
  16. Offer B does sound mouthwatering, I could understand him accepting that one. Of course you are right with your assessment
  17. My team will of course turn up in a lovely coach, my future son in law works for Wilts and Dorset and so I'll get him to borrow one of theirs when the gates are closed at night. ...I have just spoken to him and he went and nicked 1 last night. I was furious as it was the no 2 and that stops in hill lane and so my team will be knackered if they have to walk that far.
  18. I think the managers should have a pen shoot out in the case of a draw...or perhaps not
  19. I cant recall Coventry too much but I assume SISU had all in place to act immediately. We dont know where our bidders are or if the talk is correct that there is little money in the coffers , when does it run out? As soon as it does my understanding is that we immedaitely go into liquidation. Could Clapham tell us if that is correct or is there warning given?
  20. it didnt need much foresight to realise that but many decided to get behind the team and club and hope we could avoid relegation.the terrible financial situation the club was in dictated it. it is pointless going round and round the reasons of the financial issues as it has been done to death. Some chose to cause unrest that unsettled the club and players when they needed the utmost support others didnt. It is a free world and you have your choice which way to go. The fact is few thought we'd do well but most shrugged their shoulders and were pragmatic enough to reaqlise they may as well go with it as there was little choice. NP being released was a massive mistake and RL is now licking his wounds for doing so. that decision has personally cost him a lot of money and so he got the rightful penalty. We sadly have to get on with it, but I have no doubt had we had the lot before we would be in the same positin but brought on us erlier as the wage bill would not have been slashewed so much. IMHO of course
  21. Yep, who can we get? It seems my side is full of former players who are trying to be current players
  22. So somebody who has worked in the city and the regulations of insider trading is spouting off after signing an NDA . Lol
  23. Would they wish to have an advert showing what their product has done to our young men who are trying to run around SMS, i would have thought it was a negative. Good idea though and they deserve it.
