Im afraid Pancake has outed you Torbay as you must be a bare faced liar. I expect an apology as you have misled us to think you were in Torbay but in fact should be called Cardiff. Pancake much respect as you saw through his charade
-
Slick thanks for the jest, I cannot throw stones but I suspect you will be pulled up as you put 'are' instead of 'our'
-
Is that for real pancake??

I wish I could get a copy of the Echo. What is the story on her? Is it about 2 bruisers and the damage we'd like them do to us?
-
I agree it was a poor result during the keeper crisis.i will say we had up to that point a few saying drop Davis and play Poke, lol. I notice he took off John and put on Wright.Hull were scoffed at on here it is only now that fans see they werent not that bad, of course when we beat them under GB they were rubbish as we can only beat rubbish in some fans opinions

NICKH I am losing the will to live here. The club ran a typical £7m loss in the premiership to go forward we needed investment. His mad plc structure made it hard to get investment in without diluting his share ownership. However if you agree he should go can you now not post for a while- thanks I will post as i wish, but thanks anyway. i thought that RL was pocketing all the cash from the transfers, well that is what it was said on these sites, now you tell me that we were losing 7m a year. Have no plc's ever been sold? The business carries on and then a buyer makes a move to purchase.in the years you are harping on about football was not the must have of a billionaire, up until then there was a few millionaires who bought out clubs. Ambramovich was one of the first billionaires, a few more have come in since.we were unfortunate that the season we were relegated was the worst possible time as the fashion to own a club was about to reach its climax and so we missed out.As far as Im aware a CEO 's job is not to spend his/her time going out to find buyers it is only during tough times it is required. RL's time at the club must be near its end as i cant see him bringing the fans on board and as i dont wish tpo spend the rest of my life countering the RL is evil nonsense the sooner the better.

thanks Danny. I dont of the Wetherspoons place, is it by a take away bar? I would expect there must be CCTV coverage
-
I believe he should go as he kept Jan for too long and did not replece him with a CCC experienced manager. I will still counter unfair or wrong claims that are put up here, as this is a forum for views. As for the 10 years he didnt get investment in, he didnt need to as we were sound financially and if anyone wanted to buy us they only needed to come forward. It is only now it is of utmost importance.

That is fine his last 5 games. He won 2 drew 2 lost 1. So you will give Wotte 9 games to let him instill his ideas on the team? i dont actually care fro Wotte or know how good he will be but as he has our fate as a club in his hands then i will try and defend the club as if he is indeed a wrong choice it will effect us all. However good NP turns out to be helps us not 1 jot. I looked at the 3 games you wished me to cull and it made me chuckle. the 0-0 home to Cov Hull away 0-5 and Cardiff away 0-1.
-
Wotte has had 3 games, that is all.NP may have done better than Jan , his home results particularily, away Im not sure. NP is being creamed over (It went quiet about him on here when Leicester had a little poor patch when they slipped a few games) on his performance at Leicester.if you look at his results here they were onl;y average and we only got 9 points in the last 8 crucial matches.that is not very good considering he had by then had a few loans in and his influence should have been instilled.I still ould have preferred him to stay but it was not to be.

Personally if it is a unprovoked attack then it is entirely wrong. If they felt under threat and retaliated first I have no problem. What right has a fan to come up and shout abuse during fotballers social time?.They are paid to perform on the pitch and during club time, the problem is fans think we own them as well. I may be over reacting but if as i imagine it was a fan gobbing off to them and in an aggressive way i can understand if they did lash out, Im not saying it is right but i understand. The same went when that man shot a burglar in norwich, I understand why he did it but dont think it was neccessarily right.
-
RL has made a massive mistake and again did not get a manager in with CCC experience something I condemn him for.Wotte is not my choice but if as i hear he is in fact instilling a togetherness and tactics and dare i say it a fighting spirit (not the right words if the fan thing is true) then why not give him a few games before dissing him? ps the jersey friendly game was called off if anyone is interested
-
If fans gave him 5 games before judging it would be fair. NP is a manager both sides of the fence would be happy to have been stuck with. Some think he is magnificent others think he was just ok. His results to me put him in the just OK.

theres never a poll when you want one is there. a) Is Alpine a 5th columnist in our midst b) Alpine is very neutral and supportive of the club
-
That is not what you said when he was appointed and also for quite some time during up to end of the season. I have looked up the results during his tenure. To show balance I have not entered his first 5 games in charge as you have to let him get his message across and let his oideas start to show. The last 8 crucial games of last season NP's side accumalated 9 points. We won 2 lost 3 and drew 3. i know people will say that these figures are distorted as i have taken out his first 5 games (not including Plymouth home where he didnt pick side) . 5 games is more time than fans on here in general have afforded to Wotte by the way. First 5 games accumalated 7 points 4 draws and 1 win. If you stand back and look at the results they are fairly average and the last 8 games show a poor return especially as 2 of the games were gimmes Cardiff away who were looking to the FA cup final (lost 1-0) and Burnley hime who had nothing to play for (lost 1-0)

I didnt say beat up but lash out.A drunken person in your face is more likely to assault you
-
If we were out and a bloke came up and started dishing out a lot of stick about your work,(of course we dont know in what context the abuse was ) it wouldnt matter how much your wages were you may lash out, especially if the person was aggressive and drunk.Of course he may have been sober and non aggressive and so then they would beo ut of order if they did anything.

but true IMO

We are the best forum in the footballing world...that drives away well meaning fans.To me Torbay only posted in good faith a 'rumour' why we are now questionng his motives I really dont know.

I would like to have the option to stop posts that are positive going to fans like yourself who are basically 5th columnists.Nothing can ever be seen as positive to you and I post them so that the privilage I have of knowing a few scraps can be picked up by normal everyday fans who dont see all is bad. They also may like to believe that things MAY improve. We should have gone unbeaten in 3 , apart for the fact that we went for it (something that i applaud, although would have taken a point) and got hit by a counter attack in the last minute. The posts where i put in the bits i hear from within should be taken as they are meant to be , imforming some people on here who might like to know the mood in the camp.I suggest that you keep your views to yourself if they are only likely to rubbish or erode fans morale when I give any insights into the thoughts of the squad. The squad was upbeat and raring to go before the Watford game, whether this BWP and DMG thing will upset the club only time will tell.

Its not a headline as I would see one.It is a claim, I susoect the victim will be pictured sitting in his frontroom looking glum and butter wouldnt melt in his mouth after being viciously attacked by the 2 players and a kebab. If they have done so they are wrong, but I myself would not confront 2 of our players and mouth off to them about their job in their free time. They are paid as footballers not as councillers or PR people as a second job. Again I find it amusing the fans who thought it OK to attack stewards and fight with their own fans seem to me to be the most outraged about this.

Not impressed with Wotte "Fans are very easy with their judgement"

yep and they were baying for him to be England manager! -
I have spoken to a few and like myself they say they will. I myself would like the Northam to relocate to the Chapel and make a proper Kop end. we must be the only club without a real 'End' for the team to kick to. Our singing support is diluted in small pockets. To have one whole end would be awesome and only a small percentage of fans need to be next to the away fans to hurtle abuse at. The Chapel if it had the vocla support all congregated there would be a great sight to behold and the team would have a 12th man to bring the team home. Are there any other clubs where the fans are more intent to sit by the away supporters rather than stand altogether to really crank up the atmopsphere???

I would have felt so, but he still may have failed. It is a question that is impossible to answer, but i believe he would have got better results at SMS, but away????? -
I know i wont turn my back on the club and as I well know Im a self inflicted victim. Therefore i will probably buy an early bird as it will save money.Although as i missed a couple of games thins seaosn it would probably have been cheaper to buy match to match. The problem is I like the people who sit near me and dont wish to risk not being where I normally am. Early bird of course may nit be offered this season. The club may say they 'to be fair' will wait and see what division we are in when being cynical they know that to offer early bird they would have to lower prices in case we go down.Wheras if we stay up the admission charges will be the same as now.
