Ump a very valid post. I myself as a s/t holder dont give a monkeys if the club reduced the prices to help fill the ground and os enhance my match day enjoyment. The only problem comes as far as I can see is that when the club puts the prices back up again it is seen as a negative. The club can't win. I do like the idea of kids for a quid accompanied by a full paying adult. if they made the Chapel end family only and laid on more things for the kids in the concourse that may also generate money but also more interest for the kids. The fans in the chapel might like the idea of moving but again for the greater good it should perhaps be tried.

A good post. The problem I see with that is the league is full of those and clubs get nowhere with a team of them. I believe (maybe falsely) that it is not about this season.We have the sole aim, of staying up and consolodating.We dont go into admin but haver the nucleus for next season to push on with a team that has had its teeth cut at this level and with a little bit of addition then goes to higher positions. We have tried the seasoned pros on big wages and that has not done the business.I still feel we were too soon on HR's back and he jumped as he could see the writing on the wall.We were on the margins of the top four when he left with the transfer window beckoning, the 2nd half of the season is always the time the promotion teams push on and he would have got us there or thereabouts just look at the squads power then. I know this is controversial but thatr is how I see it.

im as dumbfounded as you Whitey. Seeing that our council tax bill for the stadium of £1m surprised me, add on the running costs of the acadamy and i suppose it builds up. Why the club doesnt come out and educate us fans what a free transfer costs and how a player is rewarded would help a lot.They would only have to put up a dummy transaction and then we all could see how mad the wages and bonusses that footballers were on.Perhaps the powers that be would have a better time of it.

How many games would have Davies have played by now? If he hadn't gone would we have got Morgan? I myself do not know but the club had everyone up for sale and we couldnt offload players, and Davies was the only one we coud scrape some money in for. The club has taken on a lot of players on high wages and so those players are hard to shift. I cant see how you get out of that one.

didnt they reduce prices by 50%. Still a good team and look useful. it is amazing how james and distin look so much better than they did for Man c.
