Sorry I never saw the post about that. Why didnt you PM me ?
-
Is that a dig at me? If so you havent read the posts.I havent said he's no good but he's not irreplacable and for all his endeavour he did not turn things around for us. If we were financially secure then having a player out for weeks would be more acceptable, in the meantime he has gone and that means we have got in a useful player . This week there are more to come

Thats fine if you cannot debate and make out its because some are intransigent. I understand why we have sold Davies, I like him but he is not superman and the stats surprised me. Now if it was Killer going I would be far more concerned. By all accounts Cork fitted in well and Davies may not be available for weeks if not months. Is it better the club has the money in now or have it sitting on the treatment table? We have strengthened the team by his leaving as we have a fit player in the squad.
-
Would you say that if we had Killer our results would not have improved then?

no one has come back and defended his role in the 23 games where we won only 4 lost 9 and drew 10. It is hardly breathtaking and he was part of at least one of the 5 goal drubbings. He won us all over by his bravery and spirit but that doesnt mean he's a great footballer.Like Baird his lack of height and pace will be found out. If he is a success I 'll be delighted for him but their will be another hero who will come ofrward

well as you and others have been taking the p### out of the manager to then fret that he might be taken from us is funny.
-
a better comparison would be Baird and Davies.Money is tight and so some prices have dropped.Davies still hasnt got back from injury and so he is a risk

I thought part of the skates terms that they werent able to come on the main board.
-
no doubt some of it was ,but as we have been over time and again it was series of errors.

I have been impressed with Holmes and he is an integral part of the movement and attacking play. When he first arrived people were on here saying that Derby fans thought he rubbish etc. It shows to some degree if a playerr gets a clean start how things can imporve.Pulis anyone?
-
Im amblivilent about him but seeing him at Beijing with our Olympians and how well we did.I wonder if if he had had full backing for his ideas would we haved moved forward quicker. This is not about supposed salary because the 750k banded about has been laughed off but with this set up perhaps he may have helped.

You are a great example of that PES.

It still is a nonsense. As for the selling of players, to me we wont miss any of the ones gone, including Davies. All of a sudden the kids can see hope that they will not be overlooked because a 'star' is waiting to play. These kids are as close to a tem of Saints fans. These lads have in the main been at tewh club som e years and whilst we may not be their first love they do want to play for us and have a hunger.

Iwill be more than happy for the focus to be away from the team until after the window closes.

Keegans scissor kick against Manu at the Dell

I find this incredible, talking so wonderfvully about the style of play and then still having a fault with the man who has set it up. I understand you have principles but you must concede some of this excitement is down to RL.
-
Would we want those, whose place would they take??
-
Today is why we love the Saints.Knowing that fans of another club have seen us take them apart and got them talking about us being a class act instead of being lucky or lousy.
-
Whats the betting he wont come back, or if he does it will be as we were lucky.
-
I think its not because we have won today why there is a positive feel, but those who have seen some positives in the defeats have been vindicated to a very small degree today. To listen to Will Cope being so gushing shows to me that we really did well.Lets hope the fans there back up the feelings we have from listening.

I wonder who they might be Mary?

Not Bellemoor and Hounsdown Grammer school where English was taught as the second language

Like I haven't been too down on the defeats Im not going to big up the team after a win. I just feel watching some of the football played when we lost was class. And I felt that we might be privilaged to see something special to happen in front of our eyes. Its only a win but it is the style that impresses me.

Remember when a goon comes on and says the team now is 'Farawaysaints' best side in years, its me
