How many of those 27 hours of football have each striker been on the pitch though?

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

Any unnecessary suffering of any animal I don't appove of. How about you? Arguably? Not sure how an animal that dies slowly compared to very quickly is more humane, so I totally disagree that most meat eaters would be happy to eat halal. -

May I ask what you think of Halal slaughter and are you happy to eat meat prepared this way? -
Austin is excellent in the air, has an excellent first touch, ball control, quick thinking and bravery (doesn't fall over every time another player comes near him). If you think the only reason he scores is because the ball comes to him while he's stood around in the penalty area may i suggest you watch his 100 goals video (yes he has had one of those for years now) and one of any since, like his prem goals for QPR for eg.
-
If Austin is fit then he should play.
-
He has excellent ball control and first touch, is an excellent header of the ball and can finish. Shane Long is fast.... Matt Le Tissier played his entire career in a team that got overrun most weeks, what's your point there? Not sure if trolling or actually serious..
-
Dog****? Yeah ok
-
Agree, it's crazy the one we have is sitting on the bench.
-
Maybe because the guy that's most likely to score is on the bench?

Other Premier League Transfers - Deadline Day

He scores goals, that suits our style. Gray managed 1 more goal than Austin last season despite playing 3 times as many games. -

Austin has a far superior goal record at every level. Madness to suggest swapping them. -
You always knew there was a chance with Le Tiss in the side no matter how bad things were. No saints player since has even come close to having his ability on the ball. Infact very few have anywhere and certainly none that have pulled on an England shirt. Just how much would he be worth today? Another good collection of his goals including a few rarely seen ones.

How would you feel if no one left but we didn't sign anyone else?
SaintStinger replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
Last season he was with us. The season before he was with us for 6 months and qpr 6 months (in the champ), the season before that he was with qpr in the prem (35 games and 18 goals). Thats 54 prem games and 16 championship games in the last 3 years/seasons. You're either ignoring the year in the prem with qpr or you actually meant 2 years/season and not 3. -

You what? In the last 3 years he's played 54 times in the Prem plus 16 times in the Championship. -
Doesn't suit his style of play? Austin's 1 in 2 ratio under Puel is certainly impressive then don't you think?
-
To be fair he was actually. He netted 17 times that season and 5 in 4 before the injury. Agree with the rest though. Very sad.
-
Austin and Gabbi are the only 2 I would keep. Sell the rest (including Gallagher) Hilarious that someone thinks JRod is a better finisher that Austin...
-
Austin must be close to a return now surely?
-
I enjoyed that. Everyone of them put in a decent shift. Defence was sound and I didn't realise how nippy Yoshida is for a center back. Roll on the second leg!
-
Never understood it either. The guy had one half decent half season 2 years ago and has done bugger all since, except get fat. Has always had a terrible attitude too.
-
As echoed, leaving out our only player who seems to know where the goal is, is daft imo. About time Long put the ball in the back of the net again. Maybe another 'where did that come from' freak Yoshida goal will see us through or something. That Arsenal side is very weak though so you never know.....
-
Even Austin said 'How'd he ****ing save that' after he kept that header out. lol
-
I've always liked Austin. He scores goals. Wanted him at Saints when he was at Swindon. He was too good for Burnley. He gets a buzz from scoring whatever league he's in. He once scored a fluke and when questioned he said it doesn't matter, all the sunday papers will just say Austin (54mins). He doesn't score many flukes though, as he has an excellent first touch and ball control. If you look at the prem season with QPR and his goals against Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea and of course Saints, you'll see this clearly. If a cross or a loose ball is in and around the box and he's on the pitch there is a chance of a goal. I reckon he'll hit 25 goals in all comps this season.

Anyone on the planet with an internet connection can sign the petition if you know a UK postcode. https://twitter.com/cbfortescue/status/746721789011722240 Now it's being investigated for fraud Some of the comments on there aimed at the 'oldies' for 'ruining' the lives of the youth are pretty disgusting tbh (some of which are echoed on this site sadly) Especially when there's no mention of why the huge majority of that age group didn't even bother to vote in the first place. Infact i've not seen anyone discussing why such huge numbers didn't vote anywhere in the media. Which is odd in my opinion. (not really).

Ah it seems it was answered above. They had 'exams and stuff' Fair enough then.
