In a cruel twist of fate, I've had to send the watch back for a full refund. So I'm currently in the market for a large faced Breitling Navitimer.
-
Lol. Wrong.
-
He's not getting any game time on the right. Redmond has more than earned his place ATM. Redmond when on the right is quality.
-
Can't ****ing believe it. I shed a tear tonight. It's about time we had a proper final. Win or lose. We've done ourselves proud in this competition.
-
Van Dijk out. Official
-
Van Dijk has indeed travelled. That doesn't mean he's fit though.
-
The Burnley game isn't a good example as I also don't think we played that bad apart from scoring, but that performance today was a marked improvement on a lot of the football we've played this season.
-
Vardy is a ****ing little rat. Deserves a retrospective red for that stamp. Little tosser. Had to be in that game as well didn't it!
-
Because he played well against Chelsea? He's looked decent and might be developing well atm but I think it's too early to be throwing 10mil at him imo.
-
Yeah it's only Arsenal.
-
Yeah it is actually. My bad, read the article wrong. haha

1993-94: Manchester United 1995-96: Manchester United 1997-98: Arsenal 1998-99: Manchester United (as part of a treble, including the European Cup) 2001-02: Arsenal That's only in the PL era as well. It's been achieved the same number of times in the 94 season prior as well.

I'm really bricking it about this game. I think we can do it but Liverpool will be a different animal this time. I know they are in a bad run of form atm BUT, Coutinho is back fit and will probably start, Henderson who has been immense for them so far this season is back and Firmino is being played in the false 9 position which he flourish's in. It's going to be a really tough evening but if we play like we can then we can do it!!! I just hope some of the misses from the first leg don't come back to bite us on the arse. A nice early Saints goal will do just nicely please.
-
Absolutely delighted with that, not just the result but the performance. Much more tempo and rhythm to the game. Passing was a lot crisper and quicker and our fullbacks were making some very good overlapping runs. Hopefully we can play like that against Liverpool and get to a proper cup final again. It's been too long!
-
He needs to be played with someone else alongside him but even so, I thought we'd be aiming higher than him.
-
Hope he is given a warm reception when he returns.
-
The wages will definitely be a sticking point. He's on around 100k at Liverpool. We won't want to be giving him anywhere near that. I think he's holding out to see if a bigger club comes in for him, if they don't we might be in luck. If they do and they do it last minute, we could be in trouble as far as a replacement goes. Only my opinion though.

Best - Easily his goal against Brighton. I was at that match and it was such a great moment to be part of! Worst - The way he's left. and to add insult to injury he's gone to a struggling West Ham side.
-
Our fans are making a bit of an embarrassing name for themselves by booing every ex player to death. Lallana left years ago and still gets booed. Fonte deserves a light applause then forget about it. It's not hard to show a bit of class sometimes.
-
Funny how he gets Mendes in then throws out his toys to get a move. I honestly feel like his new agent has led him up the garden path expecting Utd to come in for him, then the only reason he left for west ham was because they were the only ones that were actually interested. It's a shame really but good luck to him. I really hope he isn't booed. It's becoming embarrassing now.
-
Yep.
-
Where on Earth in my post that you've quoted does it say I want the club to give him what he wants? I don't and i'm not too bothered that he's going. He want's something we aren't prepared to offer.
-
I honestly think it's a case of him wanting a three year deal whilst we aren't willing to do that for a 33 year old. He want's assurances that he'll have income for the next 3 years. He's gone about it the right way really. We won't give him what he wants so he want's to go somewhere where they will. It's unfortunate as he's been amazing for us but it is what it is. Lets just hope the mongs at St Mary's don't boo him.

What's the problem with an old man sitting there watching the game with a Bovril? There are noisier stands in the ground if that's where you want to sit but don't judge other people for the way they support our club. As long as they aren't be idiots like the idiot that climbed the partition against Spurs then what's the problem? Nearly every set of home fans are quiet anyway. We have really good away fans so that's the main thing.
