  2. It’s been over two years since we beat one of the so called ‘big boys’ so yeah really sweet. Plus £36 million is about the going rate for a Salzburg Mane these days or will be in a couple of years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Two good results and people seem to forgot how diabolical we’ve been this season, many of these are out of contract, many will move on to bigger clubs and many are contracted but surplus to requirements. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Things I’d do: Players: Out - Cedric, Yoshida, Clasie, Hoedt, Long, Davis, Carrillo, Austin, Tadic, Boufal, Gabbiadini, Bertrand, Pied, Gallagher, Taylor, Wood, Flannigan, Forster, Reed, Gardos, Targett plus other U23s (Latham, Rose, Bakary, Cook, B. Cull, Little, Barnes, N’Lundulu, Olomola, Seager) and expiring scholars (Gardner, Siu, Davis) In - Promes and a selection of European talent, although keeping a smaller squad Staff: Out - Hughes and team (done their job), Dave Watson (poor goalkeeping appearance and poor at defensive set pieces) In - new manager to play attacking football with staff Board: Out - Reed, Krueger, Wilson Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes we should keep a manager that has failed to win every league game under his leadership and has only narrowly beat a league one side. We’d be better off points wise currently if we’d kept Pellegrino. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Buzzing to sign 15 odd Shane Long’s this summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mark Hughes

Pros of Mark Hughes according to most Saints fans: 1. He’s British 2. He doesn’t have a foreign accent 3. He’s British Negatives: Everything else. If he’s here at the start of next season it says enough about the club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. No proof but when the majority of the deals were signed our stated ambition was champions league, not avoiding relegation, so relegation wage cuts and release clauses would be unlikely to be included Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Think a lot more will leave, mainly on loan, due to the ridiculous wages we pay and none of our players having relegation wage drops in their contracts. Relegation will be disastrous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Will Mark Hughes sign a new deal to lead our charge into Europe/to avoid relegation/to achieve promotion (delete as appropriate) next season? Or will we have a new manager leading us to one of the above next season? Thoughts and suggestions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Terrible result as the manager will keep his job. Draws aren’t good enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Is anybody actually going to renew for next season? Had a season ticket since 2004 but not even interested or considering renewing for next season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Think Hale and Hamblin have been offered pro contracts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Bertrand and Cedric getting injured in a pointless game before the most important game of our season. Brilliant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ah the ‘medical booked for Monday’ comments. This despite all medicals now being done in house by employees of the football club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Krueger will be delighted we got the 3 points. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The Packers were shyte this season as well, although missing their QB for around half of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. We’re Championship bound. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Can anyone see us scoring? Just don’t see where the goals are going to come from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Does Kelvin actually have any coaching badges yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Wouldn’t be underwhelmed at either. Just think there’s better value for players on the continent. Wages, transfer fees will be ridiculous plus they’ll likely be injured most the season, lack any real motivation and not deliver what we need. Younger better players are available on the continent, but because Sturridge is English and Walcott came through our academy they’re overrated by the majority. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. All we need on top of the players linked in Wilson’s article are Jamie and Harry. Might as well get Olivier Bernard in for depth as well! Mawson is an ordinary centre half no way good enough to be a replacement for van Dijk. He’s only rated because he’s English. Absolutely reeks of 2005 this, hope we stay well clear of all these players apart from Sessegnon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Walcott is exactly what we don’t need. A classic ‘black box’ signing, where all the players we sign are essentially exactly the same, and why we’re in the predicament we’re in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. A joke how he keeps getting picked. Sideways or backwards passing, slows play down. When he’s played recently (with the exception of a terrible Everton team) we’ve been appalling. When will he finally be dropped, or will this not happen because he’s captain and British? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. He was warming up as the 3rd keeper at the weekend, so is probably fit but wasn't risked for the bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
