What are you on about? Literally no-one is saying Bazunu is a better GK than Forster. You seemed to be using Forster getting a call up to carry the drinks as some form of stick to beat Bazunu with, odd. You also seem to forget that FF chose NOT to sign a new contract and left on a free, we didn’t pick Bazunu over him. We get it, you think he’s sh*t (as I’m sure most fans do), banging on about it every week is tedious. He’s no worse than what else we have, so just got to get on with it and get behind him (and the rest of the team).

West Ham v Saints - Lose Saints v Man City - Win Saints v Palace - Lose Arsenal v Saints - Draw Saints v Bournemouth - Lose Newcastle v Saints - Win Forest v Saints - Lose Saints v Fulham - Win Brighton v Saints - Draw Saints v Liverpool - Win 14 points, easy.

So perhaps the fittest human in history could fill that role I hear you say…?
-
On the basis he doesn’t actually save anything I would have to disagree.

What players will you miss, should they leave, when we go down?
ErwinK1961 replied to Dman's topic in The Saints
There’s not an ounce of mental fortitude amongst the squad, so wouldn’t miss any of them (maybe JWP as it’s rare to see that longevity, but he’s also weak). Facts are we will likely lose Lavia, JWP, KWP, Salisu, ABK. You might get the likes of Che who think they are better than they actually are and try for a Prem move. The rest we won’t be able to shift and will be stuck with, floundering in the championship. -
Didn’t they also use that away fans fund (cant remember how that came about) to decorate and neaten up the away fans concourse, whereas most other clubs used it to subsidise travel / ticket prices for their own fans?

Unlikely in Yorkshire I’m afraid.

Sums it up for me. Bit meh, but probably best we can do in the circumstances - we’re down anyway realistically so a bit of positivity through the club between now and end of season will hopefully set up a promotion charge next season.
-
Not a chance in hell we’re staying up, so get someone in to try and install a bit of positivity for the promotion push next year. If that’s Selles on a caretaker basis to end of season then so be it. New man to takeover in the summer when we might have a bit more choice in conjunction with the level we’re at.
-
Best case scenario is Selles doing a Mike Jackson at Burnley last season (albeit less games than we have now) - they looked dead and buried then sacked Dyche, but managed to win them a few games and almost kept them up - giving a bit of momentum going into this season and they’re flying. Or something like when Newcastle hired Benitez, seemed to give the fan base and lift and although they still went down, gave the belief going into the following season and came straight back up. Again though, he had less games than we have now. Issue we have is there’s still a large chunk of the season left and it’s vital we don’t just limp to the end - if we do, can’t see us coming back next year.

Don’t think Blackmore comments mean anything other than it just being his thoughts - don’t believe it means he knows Jones is being sacked. It’s no secret Blackmore hasn’t had the same access he had before SR took over and Semmens had his wings clipped, so I don’t think he’s fussed about what he says.
-
He’s obviously gone for the Bielsa / Everton model, give up on the first team and concentrate on the B team instead.
-
Bazunu, Perraud, Salisu, ABK, Bree, Lavia, JWP, Alcaraz, Edozie, Adams, Orsic What it will probably be; Bazunu, Bree, Lyanco, Bednarek, Salisu, Diallo, JWP, Alcaraz, Moi (to slot in at LWB as required) Armstrong, Adams

Not a chance we’re spunking £50m on him and Vitinha. One must have blown us out so we’re focusing on the other.
-
Poor lad.
-
Not when you play one up front you don’t. Maybe they’ll loan Mara out. Cant see it being more than one striker.
-
After all the previous disappointments, I’m not getting my hopes up. BUT… if we are trying to get both the Genk lad and Vitinha, then surely Che is on his way?
-
Yep, screaming at AMN to get wide and not stand and hold ABK’s hand must be shit instructions. Two managers now where they can’t follow instructions (or don’t want to). Maybe we should keep rolling the dice until we find one that is acceptable to the primadonna’s.
-
What’s wrong with shouting at the players? Seems to me like they need constant guidance as they can’t follow instructions.
-
Seen a few people say Edozie had a good game. Maybe I’m being harsh but I thought he was average, didn’t see much in the way of end product, just a load of step overs. That being said, compared to Orsic, he probably looked world class. Early days I know, but not seen anything from MO that’s suggests he can offer us anything. No pace, no skill and most of his passes went to the oppo.
-
Moments today where he was screaming at players to follow instructions they had clearly already been told, but not one of the gormless fckwits even looked at him. Like others, I don’t think he’s the right man for the job - but we don’t half have some pathetic, half arsed, thick as mince players.

Imagine being Lewis Payne and seeing AMN play in front of you. No wonder the kids are getting angsty. Genuinely, what is the purpose of AMN? What does he actually do? What is the point of his existence?
