Seems odd really, considering Salisu didnt have any caps... but Sangare has 5? Guess it could be that it wasn't a big enough fee, but not much between that and Salisu? Maybe it would have taken a couple extra million euros to get it done, but we weren't willing to pay it?

TBH, it didnt sound like he knew a great deal about anything - just idle speculation. Whether or not we were in for Sangare, the whole thing is a complete joke. As has been said, with a week to go of the window and no replacement for PEH is pathetic.

I think it’ll be a mix, though a lot to be said about getting more match practice in for the first team. Ings last season against the Skates comes to mind. Forster, Valery, Stephens, Bednarek, Vokins, JWP, Smallbone, Djenepo, Redmond, Adams, Obafemi Expect a scrappy, disjointed affair - could go either way, fingers crossed it’s us as could do with a boost.
