The article chucks a load of names out there, yet doesn't name the one player that we are allegedly close to a deal for (player from France). The names are pure guff to try and appease the easily pleased fans. The only one on that list of names that would intrigue me is Sessegnon, but that will never happen.

New manager Pontus Jansson Moussa Dembele Theo Walcott And if Bertrand leaves as well, go either Shaw or Tierney.
-
If he's playing right side of a front three (e.g. replacing Redmond) or up top in a 2, then yes please. If he's playing up top on his own, then no thanks.
-
Probably because we told everyone to do one. They would have bid if we'd encouraged it. The sooner he goes the better - he's been phoning it in since he's been back playing, which must translate to other players.

Good - should have gone in the Summer.

"I was telling Nathan Redmond how good he is at the end. Southampton have some super talented players, Redmond is so good one against one. But they didn't' want to play, they were time wasting from the ninth minute. I just wanted them to play."

No logical person would take £20m less to prove a point. That buys another Lemina. It's easy to act emotional when it's not your money.
-
Add this to our draw away against Brighton and I'm not sure I can show my face in public out of sheer embarrassment.
-
The guy who posted that photo says he spoke to Lemina and he said he was out for around a month.

What a load of boll*x.

Cheers Captain Obvious.

Neil Shipperley got done for less in the 96 quarter final.

He's nothing like Pelle or Carroll.

No he wasn't.

Cup semi final at Anfield, did it a couple of times to great effect. Not seen it since.

Got to wonder what Klopp was up to in the off-season... sounds like he was a very busy man! -
Maybe he was meant to, but refused to play?
-
He doesn't really say that at all - he says Barcelona think they fact Liverpool are signing Ox and in talks about Lemar/VVD means they would be open to selling Coutinho, but then says Liverpool are not entertaining selling him.
-
That's based on the assumption we'd actually hit the target in the first place
-
Congratulations on interpreting that from what he said.

Stephens over Yoshida? Really? Personally think he's been one of our better performers this season and Stephens has shown his naivety. Plus think we need the experience next to Hoedt to help him settle.
-
Yeah, won't be holding my breath then.

Maybe the clubs stance in the past was right, selling players that don't want to be here. Our best player is on strike and showing no signs of relenting. Our England international left back has been phoning it in since the end of last season. Tadic looks a busted flush. Would much rather give my support to players that actually want to be here and give their all, even if that is just for 2 years before they leave. You can see something clearly isn't right and the current attitude of some of our more 'senior' pros must be having an effect.

Pretty much sums it up for me. I was a little encouraged by Boufal, in that he seems to have got a bit stronger and was winning the ball back a fair bit. Yeah, he gave the ball away a fair bit in the second half, but at least he was trying to create something. Unfortunately when you've got absolutely f*** all movement from anyone of your teammates, it's pretty hard to do that. I've not been one to hammer JWP, but f*** me he was absolutely abysmal. The guy needs about 6 touches to decide what he's going to do. Pathetic when it comes to tackling. Just offers absolutely nothing. What worries me is we've got a lot of attacking options, but I'm not sure any of them are actually that good. Gabbi aside, would any of Redmond, Tadic, Long, Austin, Boufal be guaranteed starters for any top half teams?

Sounds familiar....
