But what about all the scuffed finishes?
-
If the options there, I’d sell both and bring in another LB. Targett isn’t up to Prem standard. Bertrand hasn’t looked fussed for 2 years. £25-30m for the pair would be a decent result and let Ralph being his own man in.
-
Celtic officially pull the plug on Turnbull. Nixon reckons Prem interest caused it to collapse... wonder if it’s us? Norwich allegedly making a move

Hmmm, cant see it myself... perhaps planted by the club to make us feel more grateful when we sell Bertrand instead?
-
Not sure to be honest, too many scuffed finishes to get excited about.
-
Imagine they’ll push the game to Sunday 4pm or even Monday to help them out.

He may have got through it, but the FA then changed it immediately afterwards to the point he wouldn’t pass it now if he was a new buyer. Speak for yourself, being foreign has nothing to do with it FFS. Personally I’m uneasy about the large borrowings he had to get to buy us in the first, the lack of any sort of communication around plans/strategy and a very questionable sponsorship deal drilling in mystery. If you can’t understand why people are concerned about the current owner, or lines like “as long as the money ends up in SFC’s bank account and in £ sterling then it’s ok” don’t worry you, then that’s your problem.

christ if you're looking to the FA for comfort then good luck to you

Frank Lampard's Chelsea not being televised first match? No chance.
-
Seems like it from what's been said above - if it happens, would imagine fee will end up closer to £15m, or a bit lower with a load of add-on's.
-
He'll feel right at home during training then.

The fact that using a mobile phone is deemed a 6 point offence (which I agree with totally), but it's not illegal to smoke whilst driving. Not sure how holding something that is essentially on fire whilst driving isn't deemed dangerous.
-
Would suggest that McCarthy is on his way

People who stop in the middle of the pavement for no reason. People who walk down the pavement looking at their phone and not paying attention to whats in front of them. People who leave their trolleys abandoned in the middle of the isle. Women who think pushing a pushchair gives them the right to take up the entire pavement. Old people who 'accidentally' push in queues. People who aren't ready to order when they're at the till. Attention seeking helmets. Coriander sprinkled on the top of everything. This thread is great

So was Dele Alli though... all comes down to opportunity, 1st team exposure and the quality of the coach. Must be worth a punt

Great move for the lad from a wage/prestige perspective, though hard to see him being a regular there. Will probably end up out on loan somewhere in the next 12 months.

By beating Arsenal and Man City? Really?
-
Obviously if a big bid comes in for him, we won't turn it down. I'd be surprised however if any elite club wants him just yet - he's been great on the whole for us, but still makes too many rash decisions for me. If he has a consistent season next year, I think he'll go after then.
-
Personally thought he had a very good game yesterday. Still things he needs to learn, like getting tighter to his man and consistent delivery, but he covered so much ground. For a 19 year old, he’s quicker and stronger than pretty much the rest of our team. He seemed to be the only one who could outmuscle and keep up with King/Wilson - compare that to Stephens and Bednarek who looked like a couple of wet lettuces. Much more to come from him next year and if he carries on, he won’t be here much longer.
-
That would be relying on Bournemouth to get something at Brighton, which based on their currently mentality, has next to no chance of happening. No doubt they'll be putting everything into their biggest game of the season on 27th April

Season ticket renewals - announced 10 April
ErwinK1961 replied to whiteleySaint30's topic in The Saints
Also, where it says - "And, with new individual matchday pricing for 2019/20 – details of which will be confirmed soon – there will be even better value than in previous years for Season Ticket holders." - so are they essentially saying that individual match ticket prices are going up, which makes season tickets better value?!
