  1. On the contrary to the point of this thread. Or did you forget that you started a thread suggesting that it was a bad day for republicans?
  2. On the contrary Serf. The extra long weekend has given me the opportunity to finish landscaping my garden as well as spending some quality time with the family. This republican is pretty happy.
  3. My 4 year old knows which veggies are which. He doesn't always like them but I'll 'encourage' him to eat a few more before he's allowed his pudding/yoghurt/fruit
  4. Benjani - £15k a week! That's roughly £620k he cost them since signing last summer or equivalent to £36.5k per game or equivalent to £620k per goal. Brilliant business by Clotterball. I'm "****ing myself laughing". Oh I do miss Corp.
  5. Shame, England's best chance of 3 points.
  6. Hang on, surely this is the administrator's responsibility/liability?
  7. I heard Luxembourg are a bit tasty these days. Not as nawty as Litchenstein mind you.
  8. "Penalties are a joke" case settled....... There's no luck in taking good penalties under pressure. It takes mental strength combined with good technique - funny how Germany have won so many and England haven't! must be down to luck! lol If you take a good penalty it doesn't matter which way the goalie goes because he's got no chance of saving it. Are you suggesting that Matt Le Tiss was lucky to have such a good record? Who'd you rather took the decisive kick in a shoot-out: Le Tiss or Olly Lancashire? As you think it is down to luck I guess you wouldn't mind.
  9. Is this thread for real, some of the suggestions are bonkers.
  10. We definitely don't want any more people to support the Saints.
  11. Can't see anything replacing them. The drama and excitement is massive.
  12. Think you've contradicted yourself here. Surely getting fouled for a potential penalty IS an advantage? That is, a penalty kick is more advantageous than a free kick on the edge of the box. Perhaps the ref didn't think the second incident was a foul and so made the correct interpretation of the advantage rule?
  13. Me too, taking my 4 year old, should be good.
  14. On their one foray into the United half, the pumpey striker was brought down by the keeper who saw red. Didn't really make much difference as it happended so late in the game. In terms of daylight robberies this match made Barca vs Chelsea look totally even.
  15. Only as an assistant manager. I saw AVB house hunting in Winchester yesterday.
  16. Based on.......? I have a sneaking feeling that you're full of ____.
  17. No mate, you're just not afraid to point out that the Emporer is wearing no clothes.
  18. Surely there are grounds from a criminal investigation?
  19. FFS they never learn, what a cesspit of a club. Lampitt's (former FA Head of Integrity lol) defence is pathetic. The charity money should have been separated immediately into a different account and paid to charities straight away. How different are the two South Coast 'rivals'. Whilst Pompey are pocketing charities cash, the Saints Foundation has raised £1m plus. Would love it if Cortese paid off the charities out of SFC funds....
  20. What a depressing cynical thread, regret my initial post. Let's sneer at poor people....what a laugh.
  21. blimey, the boredom endemic on the main board has spread to here. Dune, I note you are still equating "Liberal" with "Left wing"..... fail.
  22. Not sure the out of town idea always works. The Reebok for example is in the middle of nowhere with few local facilities (pubs etc) and it can take an age for people to get away from the ground because of bottle necks. The Rosebowl or whatever its called these days is right next to the M27 but still had loads of problems with congestion before and after big events.
  23. Saw an interview with him recently. He said that he did that deliberately because he thought it would give his books better access to the US market and greater worldwide appeal. "Lee Childs" isn't his real name either. He chose Childs because it was early in the alphabet and easily remembered.
