Yeah I agree we need a few experienced heads in the team Especially for the spine. The type of players that have a bit of grit and steel and don't fold like deckchairs in a rainstorm once the pressure is on... I concur our mentality is weak. What is the actual deal with our coaching setup? All I can see is we have a few " Jobs for the boys " types..... Why haven't we addressed this and adjust got in some experienced coaching heads? Some of the decisions Ralph is making are baffling. Take the game yesterday our midfield was being overrun as a defensive mid Diallo is too lightweight We were crying out for the presence of Romeu alot earlier.... Ralph just seems to stationary I'm not sure if it's stubbornness but just lacks the foresight to adapt and switch up tatictically when under the cosh.....

The recent run of defeats has been quite eye opening. I don't understand what could of been the catalyst for such a shift in performances? Maybe when Ralph came out and said he was retiring. Could the new owners already have somebody in the background ready to come in? Hence why players currently are have stopping putting in such committed displays because they are waiting for the new regime. Who knows food for thought What I do know is the whole coaching setup needs developing.

Need somebody to play alongside Salisu. We can't cut corners here this player needs leadership, experience and the ability to hit the ground running. Left back situation could we sign Brandon Williams and then have him rotate with Perraud. Then we will have Livra and KWP as right backs. Next up midfield I personally would sell Djenepo, Redmond, Walcott, We need two decent wingers that again can add a bit of bite and creativity. Striker situation is tricky my own views. Armstrong I don't rate at this level at all if we receive a bid I'd sell. Adams I would keep Broja jury is still on him to be honest. If we are prepared to go in with silly money then I at least hope we have a few backups in mind with the same kind of financial outlay at disposal. Again we can't afford to cut corners goals ultimately are what get you points on the board. Not nesscarily this window but I'd try and identify another Romeu type player perhaps a understudy? But with similar attributes.

Do you think we will be getting anyone in? How is the right back situation looking regarding Livramento. Reason I ask is we were scouting that Calvin Ramsay lad at Aberdeen, Bologna going to stick a 3 million bid in surely we should aswell? if he is highly rated. I still think we are also missing a creative tadic type player who can link the attack.

Djenepo two great opportunities wasted at this level you need to take those chances..... abysmal finishing... Salisu is a unit absolute rock really good at reading the game on another level to Stephens.. Livramento won't be with us for long he looks on another level technical ability wise. Both strikers were meh today We need a number 10 to link the play.

Problem with Saints we have a weak mentality, no leaders take Liverpool for example they have the likes of Milner as soon as one of their young players misplayed a pass he went nuts at him that's the difference we have nobody in our team to lead, organize or inspire when the going gets tough. Look at our team currently he has a bit of steel and bollocks about them? Romeu and that's it..... Our defensive record is abysmal and has been for a while heading into a new season the first priority should of been to strengthen the back four, goal Keeper and Def Mid options...... i'm not talking about slotting in some youth player with the potential to sell on in a few seasons. We need experienced players who can hit the ground running a few solid big units, old fashioned no nonsense get the job done kind of players a few players who don't fold like deck chairs when the going gets tough.... Looking at our team against Everton where is the height? the aerial threat from Set pieces? we have non same as for defensive cover.... That would be my main priority right now two players incoming minimum who can add leadership and experience Cahill? Jones? I know some of you disagree but we desperately are crying out for leadership. Djenepo is it me or every-time this man gets the ball he doesn't look like he even knows what to do with it yes he produces endless step overs but where is the consistency and final end product? he has known just another Boufal Mark 2.0 I don't rate him at all or see what he brings to the team. Like a broken record on repeat letting the teams batter us every second half it's becoming predictable now. You just feel like getting a megaphone and shouting at Ralph " get some subs on now you clown Anyone playing Saints right now must look forward to it with anticipation I mean the team talk is simple sit back let Saints come at us first half and apply pressure second half they will be knackered and will fold like deck chairs..... it's not even funny writing that how predictable we are. I would do everything we can to get Tammy Abraham we need somebody to hit the ground running and has a proven record of at least putting the ball in the back of the net at a Premiership level. That's the kind of calibre of player we need because if we get the Ings replacement wrong dress it up how you want we are relegated. Thing is we still have a few variables and unknowns if we sell Prowse and Vest more money to play with. Fantasy scenario for me; Tammy Abraham > Ings Lookman on loan > Prowse Delany - new def mid option New Centre back > Vest Brandon Williams on loan - Full back cover any money left over then get Armstrong in and use Obafemi as bait That would be a good window
