  1. Get Koeman to get the man some whey protein for crimbo, needs to bulk up a bit looks like a 12 year old
  2. ^ Agree with the above, If Ramirez scored yesterday you would be seeing a different reaction fans are fickle... I have always rated Ramirez I think he is a much better player than Prowse or Davis. As for Juanmi obviously he needs to adapt we should start him agasint lower league teams / weaker opposition to get him used to things. And actually give Ramirez a decent run out against Villa
  3. Juanmi did nothing, Ramirez looked much better..............
  4. I have been saying it for a while now that Gaston should be given a decent run out. Despite the doubters on here I always think he has the capabilities to change a game I watched the game yesterday and he added another dimension to the attack and went on a pretty decent run at one point what is the harm in starting him against Villa telling him ok here is your opportunity go and take it show us what you can do!
  5. Past it get rid or get him on coaching
  6. Bas Dost get it done!
  7. Sacked good! maybe we can keep some of our players then. Thing I do not understand is Bodgers has a fetish with signing attacking players but even with the attacking talent such as Firminho he still cannot get the team to perform. Out of his depth........
  8. If the big boys come in for him then tell them £50 million no less. Then use the money to buy 3 young players that have similar potential and repeat the process.
  9. I was thinking more of rotating Austin with Pelle, take last season for example we relied on Pelle to much and he took a massive dip in form..
  10. You have been given the green-light to bring in one more player obviously keep the signing realistic who would you add? Me Personally I would go for Charlie Austin Reasons: more firepower up top has a record of scoring in the Prem and takes the pressure off Pelle..... Who would you boys buy?
  11. 1) Relocate Stadium to Fords Factory Site. Including complex of hotel, pubs, restaurants including the Saints Arms or something. 2) Revert Away kit to Yellow and Blue 3) Inside fan waiting areas during half time have some form of entertainment? i.e Saints museum tv's showing highlights of classic games, Consoles with FIFA 4) Friendly against Pompey every pre season
  12. Should of kept the intensity of the United 1st half. Should of buried them first half.
  13. Bunch of wet tarts on here! at least give the new boys time to adjust / bed in. 1st half performance against United was fantastic, we played them off the field if our finishing was a bit more clinical could of easily of been 4-0 before the half time oranges came out. I think we will be fine this season, I also belive Juanmi will do a good job for us in good time probably just needs time to adjust / pick up the lingo. Also looking at the bigger picture throw bertrand and clasie into the mix happy days. Jan transfer market or next season, Sam Byram, Mowatt, Dennis Praet, Witsel, Vilhena, Charlie Austin We can dream
  14. I'd keep him as a impact sub / play cup games and tell him to work on finishing
  15. I think the Koeman way is to play defensibly sound football after all take Liverpool for instance you can have all the attacking talent in the world and throw the cheque book at numerous carlos kick a balls however what is the point if your back four is weaker than a granny doing dead-lifts...... Take a look at the last few games with Southampton and you will see what I mean after leaking quite a few goals early season you can see that Koeman is trying to build the spine at the back after the loss of Toby, Clyne and Morgan. The attacking part will gradually get better but you can see that the mans main focus is to stop us shipping to many goals. Possession football is nice however you can chain as many passes together as you want but what is the point if you lack the capabilities to whack the ball in the back of the net? that's the problem opposition teams will sit-back wait for the sloppy pass and get you on the counter.... I think we need to take more risks, shoot more / test the keeper more, stop relying on hoofing the ball up to Pelle and actually get somebody who is willing to take players on and can finish. Currently maybe this is a Dutch philosophy or way of playing same as United, we tend to play neat tidy / intricate football which is not the most exciting to watch. Recently though I have noticed that Koeman is lacking urgency and isn't willing to change things and is reluctant to go for the jugular and play for a win. Take west Brom now I am not a football manager and won't claim to be however 2nd half 60 minutes are approaching I would of shook things up and threw on Long, Mane and Jumanji and would of played with 2 up top and went for the kill...

  17. Why are managers scared to take risks though? what I mean by this come 60 minutes of the 2nd half after witnessing the stalemate I would of chucked on Juanmi and Long and Ramirez, Surely management would notice how ineffective our attacking / potentially they could of livened it up a bit unleashed a different approach maybe have Rodriguez play up top with Pelle. Just doesn't seem to be any urgency like we are happy to sit back and accept boring performances......
  18. Thought we were solid at the back, Thought we were slow at moving the ball around in midfield and massively lacked creativity. Going to chuck this one out there but having somebody like Gaston Ramirez on the bench would of been a good option to bring on 60 minute mark for someone like Davis. I don't understand why Ramirez isn't getting a run out the frustrating thing is he is capable of producing a killer ball and unlocking the opposition. I feel that upfront Pelle is often to isolated.
  19. He really needs to work on finishing, from what I saw at West Brom it was dreadful.....
  20. Prowse your not playing american football jesus
  21. Get Juanmi and Mane on now!
  22. anyone got one? thanks
  23. couldn't give two s**ts to be honest cross that bridge when we come to it.......
  24. Going off topic here but I don't understand why we didn't go in for Nathan Dyer on loan, decent pace, scores the old goal ex saints.......
  25. Why live in the past? the man threw his toys out the pram acted like bobby big balls when he was called up to England and what has he done since? apart from appear in Nivea adverts.... Can't stand the blokes ego personally we march on without him!
