Don’t know where the points are going to come from but it’s very much looking like another 20th place finish so that’s a hattrick of being the worst team in the Prem each relegation year. At least when we go down we do a proper job of it!

My brother in law is a Blackburn fan so BBD was on my radar years ago and he was something else when he played for them. This guy we’ve got though, ive never seen such a drop off in a player. Even allowing for the jump from Championship to Prem he just looks like an absolute imposter. Was really excited when we signed him too. Has he got Dele Alli syndrome or something?

Oh he’s learned something alright. Hasn’t won a game since shaking hands with the mighty Martin at full time against us.

Sometimes I wish I could stop caring about this football club. Losing 3-2 would have been easier to stomach, knowing we showed a bit of fight, but no. Another limp dick display where possession over substance was the aim, and we’ve allowed the other worst team in the league to win comfortably and keep a clean sheet. Genuinely wish we didn’t get promoted last season. Fucking Leeds would have had a better go at it than us.

One things for sure, I’m really glad we waited to see how Russ got on this season before offering him that contract extension.

Is it though? Is it really? He would not get in any other premier league side, that much I would bet my life on. He was a liability last season and his “defending” cost us a number of times. Russ is too close to some of this squad, that much is clear for anyone to see, and it’s clear Manning is “one of the boys”. if you’re happy to accept such mediocrity representing us at left back that’s an opinion you’re welcome to, but for me as someone that has spent their years watching the likes of Bridge, Bale, Shaw and Bertrand in that position I’m entitled to the opinion that Ryan Manning is shit, and if that’s level we aspire to then don’t expect much from this football club.

Look Mr.Manning, I appreciate you sticking up for your son, but he’s not good enough for the Premier League, hell he was barely good enough for the Championship.

Was at Gosport Borough last night with a few skates I work with to cheer on Totton. Austin was getting a right old scumming from the local blue few which he promptly answered with a goal and assist to take a 2-0 lead, before a power cut led to the game getting abandoned. Don’t know if Beattie is still involved with Totton but I didn’t hear anything aimed in his direction from the unwashed.

Normally after last week I’d be confident of coming back with something, however Wolves are still desperately looking for their first win and we know how that story normally goes when Saints are involved. How League 1 standard Manning continues to start ahead of Sugawara or Bree is beyond me but that’s what happens when you’re part of the clique. Likewise shoehorn, who hasn’t fared any better or worse than THB or Bednarek really.

No real surprises are there, just a lack of consistency with the squad and formation. Im not the biggest fan of Stephens but let’s be fair, Bednarek is trash in this league but seems to escape the anger of our fans, and so far THB has looked nothing but a decent Championship player.

Just imagine we stick with Russ the entire season, end up bottom with a record low points total, and then the week after the season finishes Sports Republic decide to sack him. Or they don’t sack him, we go down, and then another club comes in for him and he fucks off to them. I could actually see it happening.

Probably be fucking Newcastle away, either that or United.

Everton are currently 5 games unbeaten, technically 6 if you count our cup match as the full time result was a draw, and I don’t see that run coming to an end this weekend. We’ll lose, and Russ will still be manager for the next game.

It’s stuff like this that makes detest our manager and our owners. How about they come out and tell us exactly what it is that we’re trying to do or build, because at the moment the only thing it looks like we’re doing is trying to become is the first ever Premier League team to finish the season with a single digit points total.

Hopefully it’s purely a result of the depressing shit served up recently. Going to football has become a chore for a lot of people. Fingers crossed at some point in the not too distant future the tide will turn and the stadium will find its voice again.

I’d take Russell Grant over Russell Martin at the moment.

A proper tradesman will normally complete the work, issue an invoice, and then give you a fair and reasonable time to pay it which like you said is about a week. Any materials they’ve had to buy would have likely been on a credit account so the cost of those won’t fall due for between 30-60 days, and no sensible trader would leave themselves so short that they can’t afford to live for a week. Might be worth checking their work and seeing if they’ve actually completed what they said they would, and to an acceptable standard. If they want payment so soon it’s because you’ll never see them again if issues arise.

I wish they’d all fuck off. Smaller clubs have managed to find much better, and richer owners. Sell us and buy some other club to add to their roster of teams I don’t care about.

Makes you wonder what exactly our “transfer guru” Darren Mowbray does as our recruitment for the last 18 months hasn’t exactly been inspired.
