Great post, exactly my sentiments about José!
-
Spot on. First League of Ireland team to reach any group stages, that was under current NI boss Michael O'Neill. Anyway, looking forward to seeing Cork City progressing tonight....much as I want them to reach the groups, I couldn't cope with a potential Saints/City fixture. Divided loyalties at all that....

Very proud watching Jose excel at this level, a lot has happened since that wonderful last gasp looping header (& celebration) at the withdean five years back. Would be soooo sweet if the two lads arrive back with winners medals. Forca Portugal indeed ?
-
Would be very happy with this. The red upper so much better than the white version. Away not too shabby at all either.

Like him a lot. Lot of potential there. I say sign him up, could even be future skipper material...

That home shirt is f ucking horrendous. Please no

Reckon this guy will be the mustard.

While it would be nice to appoint a big name, and all the high profile coverage associated, i believe that the board need to get in who they feel is the best fit. As has been espoused on here many times recently, maybe koeman was not helping the development of our academy kids (harry reed a prime example). On that basis, I'm ok with us going for someone slightly leftfield if it fits in with our long term goals. Without sounding pompous, long term planning is what sets us apart from many of our PL rivals. We have enjoyed a marvellous six or seven years, certainly the most exciting since i started following Saints in the early 80s, so on my book I'm backing the board.

He was excellent yesterday. Typical SD performance. Would love to see NI get a result against Germany...

Spot on mate, but look at who awarded the tournament...Blatter . Him + Putin= 2 sides same coin. Russia should be f*cked out after the carry-on of their thug support. C*****s.
-
I know, was speaking heart over head, just don't want those f*ckers getting any more of our personnel. And i really, REALLY despise Tottenham!
-
Wouldn't do business with Tottenham. Leave him rot in the u21s for the year.

They are sweet! Good work that man. Sadly i reckon the real deal won't be as good looking, not a big fan of UA's output in general
-
Nah, he's gone. Regardless it would appear his heart isn't in it, so ta very much for the 2 seasons, now we go & appoint a quality manager who wants to be here. F*ckin simple, innit

Mods - Any chance of a poll - "You're the Chairman"

He's a good manager, but he's not that f*cking good. We will appoint a quality replacement (our profile is higher than has been in decades) and we'll move on and support the new man. -
Plenty of bedwetting from the same old names as the past two summers. Pure comedy gold. Is this the official 2016 meltdown thread then??

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-1 Crystal Palace

Wonderful run in, we deserve the euro spot. Think this is our third highest finish ever, gotta be chuffed with that. -
Waccy baccy?

Brilliant. What an utter knob!

This is proper random.... I live in Cork (ireland) where there is zero Saints following (met my first fellow saints fan in cork aged about 20, and have never encountered a skate over here). But tonight, walking to the pub earlier, there was a group of young lads coming towards me. As they passed, one kid starting singing the pompey chimes. I was like WTF, and had to double check myself for colours for fear of wind-up (never wear colours on a night out but still..) Proper shock to the system and was very hard not to react to the little sh*t. Anyways, I'm still shook by the close encounter and wondering if any other far flung Saints have had such trauma? ?

Very interested in the saint shirts 1 and 2. If you want to give me a shout, my email is declanparsons2013@gmail.com. Cheers.

Super team effort today. Defensively we are back to last season's levels. If we can just click in the final third we will be very very strong. Red card was a joke. That clattenburg is a proper knob.
