Given the circumstances Puel has done ok. The lack of goals is of course disappointing but, as others have said, some of the glaring misses have been criminal, you can't blame him for that. He's made us hard to break down, and has reopened the path to the first team for the young lads. Need to look at the longer term. I'll take a step back in order to take two steps forward etc. We've had a ridiculous amount of managers over the past twenty odd years, its time for stability, and for me he's doing alright so far.

Things are starting to click. We haven't played badly this season, the return of 2 pts from the initial 4 games was not reflective of the performances. Lot of positives today. Romeu MOTM for me, looked very solid and used the ball well. Davis, Tadic, Bertrand, all excellent, Jose & Vvd very comfortable all day. Redmond will have nightmares about that miss, but he is showing signs of becoming a very decent footballer. Overall, We defended well, good pressing and some sweet movement & passing, good to watch. And Boufal still to come in
