One of the greatest things about Southampton F.C is the stadium it plays in, the fact that Saints own there very own 32,500 seater stadium is something to be ****ing proud of IMO. I love going to SMS for games, and I love the fact that followers of teams with sheds for grounds love to visit SMS. Its a fantastic facility and we need to ensure that its stays CLUB PROPERTY!

Haven't seen another thread about this, so... What are peoples opinions on Wottes position come the end of the season? How would you feel if the new owners decided to keep him on? In my opinion, given the quality of manager we are likely to attract in League 1, i'd be more than happy to keep Wotte on, yes he hasnt kept us up, but I cant help feeling that given a full pre-season / full season in charge he could give it a real go next year (I dont think we will bounce back up at the first time of asking however, no matter what manager we get in).

Didnt leeds appeal there deduction last season? They didnt find out till' about march If I remember rightly, cos' I remember it would have boosted them into and automatic promo spot.. Think these appeals take a loooooooong time to go through (and I bet they are expensive!)

None of us can say we are suprised..we are **** and were always ganna lose this one. We wont beat burnley next saturday - they are fighting for something good, as are forest, who look good to stay up now. We are down. So, just gotta hope someone comes in to rescue Southampton Football Club before its too late. League one is better than no league (sadly).

More quality than palace on Monday, our first half performance and DMG's 2nd half goal put us all in a fantastic mood. Nothing wrong with challenging the players to up there game. There will be a couple of obvious players that will leave because of there percieved quality / wages etc (surman, lallana, davis etc) But if we keep the core of the youngsters and the likes of BWP, DMG, Gillet and Euell, I can see us (maybe..) doing a Leicester and having a ****ing good season next year, one we might even enjoy.

Hudds will be a home tie for me so looking forward to that one Its not the end of the world for those of us who go for the love of the day out, not just the glory and respect of supporting a high end team.
