Yea saw it last night. You watch the opening scene, which is quite moving, and it never peters out at all. Fantastic film from start to finish, and you dont have to be a trekkie to appreciate it (I say that as my Trek' feering mates all came out with big smiles on there faces).
-
ok just watched the video, you can get a 31inch one, which is mad. Bet they cost a BOMB though!
-
You can get OLED' (organic light emitting diode) tv's, but I doubt thats what he meant. Think that tech currently maxes out at about 5inches or something. Means you can have a tv about one inch thick and the picture clarity is immence, but getting a big tv out of it is some way off yet.

So, anyone going to see this? Ill hopefully head down to beastleigh tonight and give it a watch (he says casually trying to hide the nerdy excitement that has been there for over a year). Just gotta try and convince one or two mates that watching a star trek film isnt like admitting youve never spoken to a real girl. Trek has always been a guilty pleasure to me, something you wouldnt DARE admit to a prospective misses or current bit of stuff, or to anyone in particular tbh. God its like telling you lot im coming out! (im not) Quite frankly, I cant wait! Think it looks really good! Anyone else going to feed there guilty pleasure and go at watch the rebooted trek? (prepares for lynching)

Hello chaps! :A: Decided to Sell the Saxo as I need a car with cheaper insurance for when I go to Uni in September, I cant afford to run this much fun when Ive got no income you see! Its a 1998 Citroen Saxo VTS in White. The only mods on the car are the MK2 wheels (that I added) and a custom K&N air filter that came with the car. Its just clicked over to 99k miles, and runs like a dream Recent parts changed include: New Radiator and Water pump 12/08 New front brakes 09/08 New Starter Motor 05/08 New cat/con 09/08 Last Service 03/09 Car does not overheat, and there's no dodgy engine noise to worry about, cam belt was changed at 75k (proof in logbook). MOT Due in September, Tax in June, but I will stick another 6 months on the car to seal the deal :y: Downsides are - One clip on the lower half of the drivers side door panel has come off, this is barely noticeable however. Both the rear tyres are low on tred, would probably get through an MOT but worth looking at. A car in great condition and a million times better to drive than VTR, yours for £1200 Any Questions please ask!!

I dunno who he is, can someone explain the negativity behind the responses so far?
-
If we could get razzzzza or john to stay on a low wedge then we would probably go up. So its got to be worth a shot, surely?
-
to be honest I love the thing when its running well, it still surprises me when you push the revs in second gear and can put a big grin on your face that says "wow...I forgot it could do that..." so im looking forward to getting it back! Ganna treat it very well and get it running well very soon so I should be a happy chappy soon

Duke Nukem Forever.. I then I wake up... -
I drove to halfrauds this morning to get some spark plugs, went to take off the coil pack and 4 of the 6 screws have been rounded off and now cannot be removed. Also on my trip to halfrauds my engine lost compression and ****ed oil everywhere so ive given in and taken it to a proper mechanic. Initial look looks like SP' 2 has jumped out, so could be a possible easy fix. I ****ING HATE SAXO'S!!!! Spent so much ****in money on mine now. Sell sell sell.
-
Oh rite so you reckon' I should go for the original part then? Probably the best bet tbh be honest as im off to uni a million miles away in september and need to get the car ship-shape and solid. Tis' alot of money though for something that shouldn't really go wrong...
-
Hello, id put this in the motoring forum but its gone so... Engines only firing on 3 at the mo, changed the SP's but no luck, guessing it'd be my ignition coil pack thats had it? Looking around the prices vary from 40 quid up to 130 quid (the one that looks like mine). Can I get away with buying a cheaper one, will it fit my engine etc? Found a load of different ones on here, just dont understand how they can all look so different. I bet it wont be easy and i'll need to spend 130 quid... http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Citroen_Saxo_1.6_1998/p/Car-Parts/Electrical-and-Lighting/Ignition/Ignition-Coils Its a 1998 saxo vts by the way, I dunno if any of you will know anything about it but its worth asking I spose

post match interviews re MLT takeover/Kelvin/Surman
Saint_Jonny replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Didnt he score today? I think him and DMG up front will be a pretty potent strike partnership in L1. With Saga ****ing off weve got no choice anyway, isnt he out 2nd best striker these season? Would be madness not to offer him a new deal IMO. -
DMG for me. You cant give it to any of our centrebacks, we were relegated FFS. They might be "good" but come on...
-
Id rather we kept him tbh, need a player like him to keep the team together somewhat. Out matty oakley if you will..
-
The Limpets. Because every 3rd person in Eastleigh walks with a limp. Really, next time your on Eastleigh High Street you'll be thinking "my god, Jonny was rite..."

Wotton injury - the referee nearly had blood on his hands
Saint_Jonny replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I meant red carded and or prosecuted by the rozzerz. If your a footy player and you lay someone out cold on the footy pitch, the police will still get involved and do you, you know! -
Yes hope its back to yellow. I do love my grey shirt tho, soooooo comfy! Well compared to the home shirt at least.

Jesus..surely if this was any sort of illegal coming together the opposition player should be prosecuted? I didnt see the incident so I cant comment. -
I think MLF was trying to make a valid point about the thugs chucking coins that struck a young child. Which is unfortunate to say the least.
-
Good points: No nonsense, does the simple things, wins headers and really entertaining to watch, always seems up for a fight Bad points: Given away 2 needless penaltys, when hes beaten he shoulder charges the oposing player and its so ****ing obvious. Got beaten easily the other week for a goal. Cant remember who we were playing, too ****ed to care. Over all id snap roda's hand off and give the man a contract.

Yea im sure it was just mob culture but its still annoying knowing these people are about. Oh well, got a few months off now before im back in the northam ruining my throat. (hopefully)
