That disallowed overhead kick was immense

If i remember correctly, (Whilst it didn't make up for ruling out one of The Dells greatest ever goals) Armstrong made ammends and got a late winner in the same match to beat Utd ........3-2 (I think)

I'm so trying not to get excited. Possibly one of the best childhood memories when he signed and as for "that goal" I was standing on the Milton. Glory days that may never return but the next few years COULd be as exciting for different reasons!!!!

Although Keegan is seen by many 'pundits' as a quitter, the vast majority of the fans at the clubs he has managed are full of praise for his style and verve. His record in all leagues is very good, and enthusiasm is an infectious gift. If he happens to be unveiled at SMS at midday tomorrow with MLT as his Chairman and the excellent John Carver as assistant manager I for one will be very pleased indeed...

Awesome. I remember tumbling down the Milton Rd. after it went in - such a shame it was disallowed, and only marginally off-side (if indeed it was). The other clip on YouTube of the "Greatest Goal ever" (v Liverpool - 15+ pass move) brought back such memories too. Dare we dream...?

Isn't Carver the one Shearer is trying to get back from Australia or somewhere for Newcastle?

No problem! lol:rolleyes:

Thanks for putting them on youtube!

For some reason, I can't remember, I stopped putting Saints related videos up on Youtube ages ago [probably thoroughly depressed with SFC]. I still have loads of videos of the sort like Brett Ormerod's goal against Liverpool in 2004, and a little bit more of stuff of the like from ex-Saints players from earlier years.

Must get around to uploading it all.
