He's off back to Sweden

The club havnt offered him anything as yet.

It's a shame that there isn't a place for him at the club, even if it's only working with the kids.

He did tell me some other stuff but I won't repeat it on here yet just in case they do offer him something.

Blah blah blah sentimentality in football  Unfortunately I agree with you it's a massive shame and I'm really sorry to see him go. You shall be missed Killer :(

Sorry to see killer go as he has been a good servant to the club but it was always obvious that Alan Pardew would not have a place for him in his set up. AP wants in his own coaching team with no previous baggage at SFC, I think that Henderson's days are also numbered once AP sorts out the youth policies and the Academy. IMHO AP is doing it in the correct manner but remenber Rome wasn't built in a day.

While i have affection for killer for his performances in a saints shirt, i don't want peope with zero qualifications/experience taking up coaching roles.

Partly to blame for last season i'm afraid. Qualified coaches only please.

A lot on here would have you believe it's not important and there is no value in coaching qualifications.

Three years in the Northam or every day on TSF seems the criteria for a football expert.

He was under contract last year, so it made sense to use him for something. He was for a short while a superb CB for us, but that is probably as far as it goes. If he is interested in coaching he needs to get his qualifications and practice on a lower level. This is after all a club aiming to get back into the Premiership, and to do that we need proven competence.

Yeah it's weird having diverse opinions amongst a group of people.

Lordswood could of course be attention seeking with his last sentance. With the way it is put it is meant to be read that maybe all is not well in the camp. If this is in fact the case I am disappointed that Killer will talk to someone not associated with the club in this way.

Either way Lordswood, you're not helping Killer's cause.

It may refer to last year and events during that time, what would Killer know about the current set up as he has not been part of it ? I again will assume the reason for not disclosing what said is because it may be frowned upon by the new set up if he is cuming his guts to people he meets and prevent him from receiving an offer, so agree with your last sentance.

No room for sentiment here. Forever grateful for Killers contribution to the club - he was immense for us. But the club too reciprocated during his long fight to get fit again.

To intimate that we should be offering him a coaching contract based on the fact that he did well for us during his playing days is foolish. Go down that road and we'd just as well give MLT, Franny, Doddsy, Shilts, Shearer & Razor a call and offer them all 'posts' somewhere in the club.

Forever grateful for his contribution to the club - but there is a time to leave the stage.

Not attention seeking at all.....

I thought long and hard before making a decision to post at all about it but There still might be a chance that he will get a role at the club,he just hasn't heard anything either way.

There were a few things said, nothing groundbreaking and nothing that hasn't been discussed on here a few times, mainly about certain players attitudes and players that were looking to leave this week (2 players) I won't name them because if they don't leave and killer gets a job then it could make life a bit uncomfortable for him.

He also spoke about a certain player not being played and the club want him to leave because of his wages.

I'm sure you can all work out who these players are but I won't be naming any of them.

He thinks that we are very weak at the back but he was very relieved that the club was saved and he hopes that pardew can get us promoted quickly.

We had a laugh about claus and his community service and he said that they still play 5 a side together sometimes.

I also thanked him for his 50/1 header against spurs a few years ago when me and a few mates made a few grand off of the bookies :-)

I did try to get him to sign for our vets team but he is too young, perhaps next year.

Spot on. Let's just remember him as a great player. The Club stood by him when he was injured and gave him every chance to get fit. But now it's time for a clean sheet and new start under a new owner and new manager.
