Arizona Posted 3 November, 2009 Share Posted 3 November, 2009 Didn't even know they had a team. Their ground is 4,000. The same size as Helmond Sport, the last team Jan Poortvliet managed before he came here. But that's a different can of worms.
skintsaint Posted 4 November, 2009 Share Posted 4 November, 2009 watched Bognor a few times at Nyewood Lane when I lived down there. Not the best pitch in the world at the time.
Torbay Saint Posted 4 November, 2009 Share Posted 4 November, 2009 The majoroty above must be world beaters then. I would be happy for that chance. Good luck to him.
merrimd Posted 4 November, 2009 Share Posted 4 November, 2009 watched Bognor a few times at Nyewood Lane when I lived down there. Not the best pitch in the world at the time. Times have changed a bit as it is now one of the best pitches in non-league. The guys that play on top of it however............ Pernecky played last night keeping a clean sheet and helping Bognor to their second win of the season. Bognor also played their other new signing, an 18yr old striker from poopey! disconnect Posted 4 November, 2009 Share Posted 4 November, 2009 It's expected today that Matthew Paterson is signing for Torquay on loan. Good for him. No where near the first team at the moment, or the quality needed, but getting a bit of experience will hopefully help him. I'm sure he'll turn into an ok player, but lacks experience. Good work getting these youngsters out on loan!
