Saint Fan CaM Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 Got to say I switched over before the Palarse goals went in - Wolves were absolutely garbage and big threat to pushing Pimpley off the bottom of the Prem table I would think. Scummer Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 Now that Notts County are through, we're no longer the lowest placed team remaining in the competition.

This is clearly one of the best seasons to be a newly promoted team in the top flight, there are some very poor side clustering up in the bottom 6, I cannot see Burnley surviving with Brian Laws, Bolton are poor, Wolves, Wigan are very inconsistent, Hull nothing special. We could really do with Fulham beating the skates tonight which wont be easy due to injuries, then a thumping at Old Trafford on saturday.

There are a lot of very poor sides and a lot of poor but vastly overpaid players in the Premier League, the football is slow and staid and any lower league side with a bit of oomph can take advantage of the time and space the average Premier side will allow them. SnailOB Posted 3 February, 2010 Share Posted 3 February, 2010 All these lower division clubs progressing so far has really shown that the 'magic of the cup' is dead

Dark Munster Posted 4 February, 2010 Share Posted 4 February, 2010 And 3 of the "big four" are out. A nightmare scenario is if P****y somehow delay liquidation, and then get through to the semi-finals along with 3 lower division teams. Does that ring a bell? Would be moderately funny if winning the FA Cup final against Notts Co was the last game ever for PFC.
