Pilchards Posted 9 February, 2010 Share Posted 9 February, 2010 Apart from those fighting with eachother (according to the radio commentary) I believe it was some Millwall fans that got the wrong date for the F A cup game.

Jonnyboy Posted 9 February, 2010 Share Posted 9 February, 2010 There was a fat man in white trying to get into the Itchen North in the 2nd half All very amusing as he argued with the stewards to the chant of "have you ever seen your ****!" That was bloody brilliant, watching him get angrier and angrier whilst his mates stood behind the stewards giving the ****** signs to the Itchen. There was some idiot sat up in that corner in the first half in a blue adidas top, looked like a total nobhead prancing around behind a row of stewards and police. SFC Forever Posted 9 February, 2010 Share Posted 9 February, 2010 The crowd was immense. People on here say oh it's only a mickey mouse cup but tell that to the 29000 that sang their hearts out tonight. Was really pleased to see Hammond and Jaidi start and also Papa and Antonio. please AP let us start something similar on Saturday.

rocknrollman no2 Posted 9 February, 2010 Share Posted 9 February, 2010 It was announced that Saints have achieved the highest EVER attendance for the JPT trophy tonight.I think that says a lot about how passionate our support is. Tonight was one of the best displays of support i have seen for a very longtime. I felt very proud to be a Saints fan tonight.
oxfordshire_saint Posted 9 February, 2010 Share Posted 9 February, 2010 I for one am bloody glad there was no pitch invasion though, I'd have been a little embarrased. Title win, last day escape, reaching the final of a MAJOR cup.......these are all times when it's acceptable. I'm glad we've won and it'll be a good day out at Wembley, but it is only the JPT after all! I'd have been ashamed if people had gone on.

Jack Posted 10 February, 2010 Share Posted 10 February, 2010 We need the entire Northam End to be populated by Saints fans only in future games, fantastic noise coming from there at times. I'd love it to be like that week in week out. Must find somewhere else to put the away fans. Or just play Mk Dons every week, who don't bother bringing any. That boy was giving it the large one all game then left with about 15 minutes to go I think. That fat bold tw*t in the white hoody was exactly the same- giving it mouth then sneaking out at the end as far away from block 1 as he could! Block 5 Posted 10 February, 2010 Share Posted 10 February, 2010 mad dog - has borderline tourettes Borderline???? Full blown I think! He was great, there were a few of us right at the back of Block 4 making lots of noise but far too many Pinot Grigio types looking bewildered by our's and Mad Dog's behaviour. Tractor_Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Share Posted 10 February, 2010 Shame about those bl**dy corporate seats being empty but apart from that, an impressive crowd. COYR for the final!
