With the whole 23 man squad being banned for their next friendly game... does this potentially give our Morgan a look in to the next Squad?

Im not sure if he is still captain of the U21's... but if he is, surely he must be up for selection?

He has never been captain of the under 21's. He hasn't even played a game for the proper French under 21 team.

In any case if for example it were England not using the World Cup squad in their next match, how many England under 21 players would be used instead? 4 or 5 at most. They would use players that didn't make the squad. Who would most likely be older. i.e. the ones that missed out like Darren Bent, Leighton Baines, Bobby Zamora, Owen Hargreaves etc

good point - should help his profile and could add a few noughts to his price tag. Those naughty French players. Mabye FC could take a leaf out of the French managers book and sack the whole crappy, over-paid, dross that currently make up the English national team.

I'm sure that there must be players playing at a higher level that weren't picked for the national squad, that will be picked ahead of Morgan, although there is a chance because the guy is class. I can't see him being picked though yet,

I'm not really up on France players...but off the top of my head... Lassana Diarra and Moussa Sissoko both play in the middle oof the park and didn't go to the world cup.

Schneiderlin has represented France at under-16, under-17, under-18, whom he captained, and under-19 levels. On 25 May 2009, he was selected in the under-20 squad to participate in the 2009 Mediterranean Games. Schneiderlin featured in thee of the four matches contested as France finished in fifth place. The following year, he appeared with the under-20 team again for the 2010 Toulon Tournament. In the opening game of the tournament against Columbia U20, Schneiderlin scored the first goal in the 34th minute, helping his side win the game 2–0.[3]

That is why this thread is ridiculous, as good as Morgan is, he has no chance of being in their next senior squad.

Mavuba and Matuidi in particular are both very talented young(ish) players who already have a few Ligue 1 campaigns under their belts and as someone mentioned above, Moussa Sissoko is very highly rated too.

The one out of those lot who has the potential to be a true star though is Gonalons, watch out for him.
