MulletMan Posted 30 July, 2010 Share Posted 30 July, 2010 I have emailed the ticket office but got no answer (as usual). Is tickets available to buy 1-2 hours before the game in St.Mary´s? I also tried to book online, but cannot register as i don´t have a customer number. Btw, how far is it from Southamptons train station to the stadium? I have been to Southampton twice before so any help would really be appreciated!

for_heaven's_Saint Posted 30 July, 2010 Share Posted 30 July, 2010 Yes, you can buy tickets before the game, best to get there as early as possible to avoid queues. It will cost you 2pounds on top of the normal ticket price. It's about 25 minutes from Station to stadium:

Scummer Posted 30 July, 2010 Share Posted 30 July, 2010 It's about 25 minutes from Station to stadium: Or there's a free bus which runs between the two.

MulletMan Posted 30 July, 2010 Author Share Posted 30 July, 2010 Why would you call them as a last option? Because i find it easier to read and write as i am not from England. I have no problems speaking english but can sometimes have troubles understanding the accent. I am only 17 btw.

Don't forget its an early kick off as it's on the telly at lunchtime. Get an early flight/ferry.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 30 July, 2010 Share Posted 30 July, 2010 I think we should be encouraging new foreign fans and helping them out, not having a go at them.

FreemantleSaint Posted 30 July, 2010 Share Posted 30 July, 2010 Mullet man, the stadium is about 25 mins walk from Southampton Central train station. The match kicks off at 12:45pm so I would advise getting to the stadium by about 11:15 am at the latest to queue at the ticket office. I hope you enjoy your day and see Saints get off to a winning start :-)

eurosaint Posted 31 July, 2010 Share Posted 31 July, 2010 I guess the lad didn't want to phone from Sweden because of the cost, whereas friendly advice on here is free ! (always assuming that the advice is actually friendly!!).
