Online Programme - Missing Pages

I subscribed like a mug to the online programme scheme, and feel a bit cheated. There are 11 pages missing from the programme that is available online/to download. 11 out of 52!! This includes the list of players, which according to the Contents List is on page 52. The missing pages were 1, 10, 12, 18, 22, 28, 29, 40, 41, 51 & 52.

I assume the paper copy for sale at the ground yesterday included these pages, can someone confirm.

Have contacted the Club about this, but received no reply, not even acknowledgement.

So if you are thinking about subscribing maybe think again.

Cortese out !!

It is his right to see those adverts. What if there was a product or a service that he really wanted being advertised? I don't think that is acceptable and really hope that you get a proper explanation from the club. They cannot keep treating us like mugs.

Don't really care whether I see the adverts or not, but maybe the advertisers would not be too pleased that the money that they have spent is not reaching the target audience. Was more annoyed about the player sponsors page and in particular the list of players which is usually on the back page. Still think that if you are sold a product that removing pages willy-nilly is silly

maybe the advertisers only bought the right to be in the printed version.

...CRAZY AS THAT MAY SOUND...

Have they responded to you yet?

After all it is Monday today, so I assume the office staff are back in the office....

Hopefully they've put your mind at ease and assured you it was only the adverts that were missing, but will make a special edition for the next issue including all the adverts just for you ;)

I see that in the Bournemouth programme, they have decided to fill in all advert pages with the crest and there is even a squad list on the back.

I still think that it is wrong that no adverts are included online because companies have paid for those and they deserve to have them printed.

they are printed on the actual programme.

Do you not think perhaps advertisers are offered two rates - programme with online version and programme without online version and they have all decided not to pay the extra ?

yes they've responded, but not sure why I should share any information with ****s like you. I don't give a feck about the adverts, but if a service is offered providing copies of thr matchday programme thats what should be provided. Its not just adverts anyway, it is also the Player Sponsor and Team List pages. So now, any more sarky little comments?

I signed up to the Cortese diet last month (£19.99 including free action sash headband) and I haven't lost any weight, despite sticking to the regime to the letter. I intend to write a stiff letter to the Echo, on cardboard.

Just a never ending diatribe of error...

Oh FFS Alps, that was a joke (you do know what a joke is I assume) based on the continual whinging about NC by certain people on this message board. I am very supportive of NC if you must know. Perhaps I should have added a smiley, but prefer not to bring my posts down to the kiddy level too often. In any case why should the Club not be held to account for providing something that is not what is advertised? After all you chide them often enough for not providing football which they advertise (another joke). If you offer to provide a copy of the matchday programme online and do not mention any caveats in your terms and conditions then your customers are entitled to expect what it says on the tin. How does a customer know that the missing pages are only adverts, unless of course said customer also buys the printed version? It is not even particularly obvious until the page numbers are checked. I actually was interested to see the player sponsors, a page specifically noted in the Contents List, and this page was missing. Not a full page advert. Likewise the Team Lists. It seems anyway that the Club may have actually learned something from the initial launch if indeed they are now including "blank" pages where adverts used to be, seems like a reasonable solution to me.

Erm, no. I dont think I will.

Why drag up a dead post to add your views when they are the sam,e as the ones already pointed outon here? It stinks of egotism and the big "look at me, look at me".

I mean, take this as an example. Did you even read the post before you replied? Nowhere does the original "slaughter" anyone! The poster pointed out that he subscribed to the online program scheme in the belief the he would get the exact same program that was on sale at the club on match days. He didnt know at the time that pages missing from his .pdf were adverts and sponsors pages. He was pointing out that he has been sold something that want what it was described as. Do you think he was wrong to do this? Really?

Serious point to you Alpine, think about what you post before you do. You are always going on about how people hound you just because you are you. Well, here's an idea, why not temper your "style" a bit and be a little less of a ****, maybe that way people will learn some respect for your views. Being less bullish might also calm you down, and God knows you need to calm down a bit before you do yourself some serious injury.

Yet another thread dragged down into a petty squabble between the usual protaganists. I really can't be bothered to go through and pick the wheat from the chaff so I'm closing the lot. Another thread with a genuine point is ruined by posters incapable of discussing an issue like adults.

When will people give up?
