Nexstar Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 Think the club only release ticket sales on the website now, you can't just e-mail and find out anymore. So, no figure as yet
Nadia Sllim Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 Would be a real fantastic effort to sell out for this one.
martel Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 Would be a real fantastic effort to sell out for this one. Quite right, a packed St Mary's in respect for Marcus would be fantastic, I would presume their will be a minutes silence as well; wish I could be their my self, however, in spirit I will be for sure. Appy Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 A silence would be more suitable i think rather than a applause. Shows more respect.
richie Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 Yeah I think silence too. Clapping is good in certain circumstances (e.g George Best) but I think there will be alot of people there, especially those that knew him well, who may not feel up to clapping. West End Saint Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 I hope this sells out if 50,000 + can make it to Wembley then 30,000 + should turn out as a mark of respect for the man that saved our club. There has been a lot of genuine sympathy for Markus I hope that we get a full house to show our thanks and respect for him it is the least we could do. NickG Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 The club, players, Cortesse, any family/friends of Markus who are watching, could all do with the lift of a sell out. As someone said- - if you enjoyed the JPT is it too much to ask?
Toomer Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 A full house would be a fitting tribute to the man who not only saved the club but won the hearts of us all with his actions at Wembley. He was like a kid in a sweet shop with a smile as big as the arch, that memory will stay with me forever.

SFC Forever Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 Silence for a minute. Then can we raise the roof with sound for the whole match. Maybe we could find a nice Liebher's army chant as well.
alehouseboys Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 A silence would be more suitable i think rather than a applause. Shows more respect. I'd say this is about right, tho' it would be interesting to see how they deal with these situations in Germany/Switzerland, if they do a 'minutes applause' then that may well be more fitting. Whatever, after this, his name should be ringing round St Mary's. Shame it never really got going at Wembley.
CWD Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 We've rearranged a golfing weekend to make sure we're there for Markus on saturday. Least we could do really. And judging by the fantastic support shown over the last week, I have full confidence that a sell out crowd of superb, endlessly grateful saints fans will do the same. JRM Posted 16 August, 2010 Share Posted 16 August, 2010 Agree with the sentiments above, will be good to see a full house, good news that block 43 is open, i cant see Orient bringing many so hopefully block 44 as well like the MK Dons game.
