S-Clarke Posted 25 January, 2011 Share Posted 25 January, 2011 He won't be avaliable this weekend as they've said he's out for 2-3 weeks, should be ready for Carlisle though.
NickG Posted 25 January, 2011 Share Posted 25 January, 2011 would be silly to play him against Man U unless 100% - save him for league

Thedelldays Posted 25 January, 2011 Share Posted 25 January, 2011 Same, gutted for him as he missed the Man U game back in 2008 due to Injury too. the skill and control he has shown this season would have caused any of their lot problems...no question...proper gutted.. rafeal or G neville would have had a busy afternoon IMO
Saint Garrett Posted 27 January, 2011 Share Posted 27 January, 2011 Anyone have any idea how his injury is looking and how long he will be out for ? Will he make the bench on Saturday like he did at the start of the season when he wasn't fit !?
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 27 January, 2011 Share Posted 27 January, 2011 Probably going to St Marys tomorrow when him, Guly and Chaplow are there so I will ask him!
LVSaint Posted 27 January, 2011 Share Posted 27 January, 2011 Even on a bad day Adam Lallana is the best creative and attacking midfielder in the league. Just a pity now that he is spending more time in the treatment room than the training room. At least he has David Connolly for company.
bender Posted 27 January, 2011 Share Posted 27 January, 2011 Coming back from injury I'd hope he'd be saved for monday to be fair. Plus, he's exactly the sort of player who could hurt Man Utd, he's good enough to rip Neville apart. I'm not too sure we want to be putting that on display just before the transfer window. He's just signed a new deal.
trousers Posted 27 January, 2011 Share Posted 27 January, 2011 (edited) He's just signed a new deal. Which wouldn't preclude him being sold if, for example, Man Utd offered us £20m for him on Monday. Yes, highly unlikely, but signing a new deal doesn't rule anything out per se. Edited 27 January, 2011 by trousers
Window Cleaner Posted 27 January, 2011 Share Posted 27 January, 2011 (edited) Which wouldn't preclude him being sold if, for example, Man Utd offered us £20m for him on Monday. Yes, highly unlikely, but signing a new deal doesn't rule anything out per se. In fact there have been quite a few cases of players signing new contracts with the precise purpose of obtaining a better deal for their club.Should we not get promotion (but we will) a 4 and a 1/2 year contract will just get us money for Lallana (and incidentally more money for Bournemouth)Although I don't know where Bournemouth would have stood if he'd moved on on a free transfer, in theory they'd get nothing.
