The Highs & Lows Of 2010/11?

The highs for me were the comeback against MKD and seeing my nipper & Corky Morris's nippers going absolutely mental and my nipper and I running around the house and garden like maniacs when we scored the winner against BHA.

The lows (the death of Marcus excluded) were the wasted weeks prior to Adkins appointment. It felt as bad as administration and the home defeat against Brentford which was the worst Saints performance I have ever seen.

What about you members in general population?

The Highs - Holding our own against the Mancs in the cup, The appointment of NA, the MK comeback and getting out of this pub league

The Lows - Swindon & MK Dons Away, truly shocking !!!! and I got a section 60 at Swindon !!!

The whole team at Swindon should have been subject to a Section 60; for committing the crime of impersonating professional footballers.

Highs

The MK Dons turnaround, was just absoloutely brilliant and really was the turning point of our season. Showed we had such a good attitude and never gave a game up.

The Brighton turnaround. Leapt around the house like a mad-man. Don't think I have celebrated a goal like that whilst being at home.

Lows

Rochdale at home. Awful, awful result and at that time I think every Saints fan were thinking we were blowing it.

Walsall away. I really felt worried after that. Time was ticking away and we destroyed them that day and lost.

Highs -

The MK Dons comeback

Oldham away

The emergence of Alex Chamberlain ( I actually said in the first half against Bournemouth in the League Cup "the boy is out of his depth"....sorry Alex !!! )

The feeling at the final whistle against Plymouth last week and then again against Walsall on Saturday

Lows -

Rochdale home - it was abysmal

Brentford home - the wheels came off the bus for that one

The day Pardew was sacked - I was bloody livid.....still alls well that ends well :-)

Highs

MK Dons at home, best second half ever!

The Huddersfield and P'boro home games were great too, loved them.

The phenomenal end to the season, picking up 40 points from a possible 45. I've never experienced anything like it supporting saints and it may be a while before we get close to that sort of form again!

Lows

Death of ML. Awful moment, i'll never forget the utter stunned shock I felt when I saw the news. Thought it was someone having a total sick joke at first.

Rochdale at home, easy. Came away from that game wondering where it all went wrong, everyone was a shadow of the player that excited so much the season before. Didn't know where we were heading.

MK Dons away - Felt auto promotion was slipping away from us and another season was being wasted. I felt we'd only manage it if we went on an unbelievable, never-seen-before run of form.....which amazingly, we did!

Highs: definitely Brighton away and Mk Dons at home, never jumped up and down so much listening to the radio. An honourable mention to us Blackpool a lesson in the FA cup

Lows: Markus's Death. Rochdale at home, an awful result and performance my Dad and I left the ground and agreed that it was the worst we'd seen saints and as far as we were concerned had hit rockbottom with that result.

To me they both came in the same game. At 2-0 down to Milton Keynes I thought that not only had we blown automatic, the play-offs were looking a long way away but after the fight back and the 3-2 result, I was then convinced we were going up.

Highs

-Listening to the Brighton game and going mental when Fonte's header looped in.

-Genuinely believing we may go on and beat Manure.

-Barnard's smashing into the net against MK Dons to spark wild scenes.

Lows

-Rochdale (H): thought there was no way back for Saints after that. Woeful.

-Walsall (A): 'One of those games'

-Might sound silly and not bothered looking back now, but at the time - Hernandez poking in after Dickson's mistake. Jammy b@stards!

The comeback v MK DONS was probably the most important moment of the season but certainly lots more highs than lows

The biggest high of the season for me was a false dawn away at Brentford when someone said that Brighton had scored against Huddersfield, the shear delight on everyones face and the massive celebration was awesome - granted it was two days early BUT it was a high

Bournemouth away broke there challenge, Brighton away broke Huddersfield both excellent game to be at

Low was the news about Marcus
