Jatta from Notts County looks a good finisher but it may be too much of a stretch in term of quality although the same was probably said for Ivan Toney (although he came from an established academy) As a back up he would be more competent than Downes

Spy-gate\Cheating Response Songs for next season...

To Panic by the Smiths Standing in the fields of Oxford, Hiding in the trees in Middlesboro I wonder to myself Why are you so shit Then repeat "Spying on you, spying on you" until bored -
I thought that might be the case and others would've spotted it. It is clearly obvious from the reports although it is a bit strange that the report states in it's opening section that the Oxford incident occurred on the 23rd Dec and the KO on the 26th was 3pm, do any football clubs train after 1pm? Later it says the person was there on the 24th which we must've admitted!! It also looks like the severity of the punishment was justified by including the Oxford and Ipswich incidents but they were then punished separately. It is clear the whole process was rushed for the final to take place and you could argue that this grab for money undermines public confidence in the morals of the EFL to stage the "Biggest game in Football" above the correct legal procedure. However, we lied about doing it before then admitted we did it, we tried to claim that we didn't gain a sporting advantage when we probably did although we could've read the fucking papers to know Hackney wasn't playing. We used the wrong legal precedent in the Leeds case as it was committed before the rule and would be used to justify the existence of the rule. Also, letting Eckert say I didn't know it was against the rules is stupid and shows there is no culture of leadership or understanding.
-
The Leeds one is mainly irrelevant due to the addition of the rule 127, which has clearly been broken and that separates the punishments that can be levied. The F1 case is strange as the punishment was to the Constructors (McClaren) but the drivers were not punished and allowed to retain their point and compete in the drivers championship even though they would've benefited most from the information gather from the technical information. Using this to justify the commissions result seems to be contradictive as the F1 ruling allowed a sporting advantage for the drivers. There are also a couple of NFL cases for spying which resulted in a big fine to the Head Coach and sporting sanctions equivalent to a transfer embargo (Loss of first round Draft Pick) which I thought might be considered in the ruling. The other thing that jumped out in the report is that Middlesboro were aware of the Oxford spying on the same day as we spied on them which seems a little random unless they were already aware (which may well be stated somewhere else in the 200 odd pages previous)

He could've said he was bird watching and then it would've been up to Middlesboro to prove the case.

I wonder if the EFL has shot itself in the foot now with enforcing the rulebook to the fullest extent, there are a few rules that teams could report to the EFL and expect enforcement. If Ipswich had missed out on promotion due to the two postponed games against Pompey they could've reported them for Rule 32.3 as the skates could've foreseen rain and protected the pitch. Also, playing a weakened side could result in actions if the other team benefits at the expense of third team potentially getting relegated or missing out on the playoffs. We broke the rules and admitted to them so had no recourse apart from appealing the severity but we admitted to breaking them on multiple occasions which will always get the harshest punishment.

50/50 on this opinion, the two pen shouts in the first half weren’t pens, no hand ball and Sceinza although knocked off the ball was not enough! However, the ref should’ve got the book out early and stopped the easy fouls they were allowed around the half way line! I don’t think it was a red for the foul on the edge of the area either! We don’t take advantage of these kind of referees, we should be taking out players before they get momentum

The JPT and the Playoff Final we drove to Basingstoke and caught the train from there and it wasn't that busy, you couldn't get on at Eastleigh or Winchester. I suspect this time people with travel to Central to get the train from there but you might get diverted out of Platform 4 and have to queue up outside Platform 1!!
-
If you change at Basingstoke, both SWR and GWR run trains to Reading and there are about 10 an hour to Paddington!! I don't think they are that much slower and won't have that strange smell Cross Country trains have!! I am not sure how viable it is but you can go via Salisbury - Reading - Paddington

What’s your unpopular opinion on Saints?

If Rory Delap wasn’t injured we would’ve won the FA Cup in 2003. Also, that Fabrice Fernandes was a lot better player than most people give him credit for. -
Which US superstar should invest in Saints?

His estate is in the process of selling the Seattle Seahawks so there may be room for a "Soccer" team to be added. Also good news the super-yacht is still part of the estate so we can look out for it again -
It looked like he was marked at the beginning but Lascelles went to where he thought the ball was but it ended up where he was and Manning had an easy finish. Big thanks to Nelson for the lack of effort tackling Charles for the winner Also, is this better than the 9-0 result, 9-0 was a kick in the balls but our balls weren't ready for action, at 3-0 up they must've thought they were close to finish and then BAM balls kicked

Yeah, there is a fucking massive clue in their name as well, they haven't been a town since 1889.

The beginning of Thunderstruck by AC/DC but singing Tonda instead of Thunder!!
-
To be fair, Beattie’s scoring run in 2002/3 came after he was banned from driving! Although, he was an actual player not a fucking giraffe on an ice skating ring
-
I was in Junior Saints then as well, not got the certificate anymore but I do have a box of programmes from that time with Matt signature on most of them

I think Bannan fairly blocked off Jander which gave Amass the space to drive forward to take the shot. I don't think it helps Bazunu that when he dives down low it looks slow

100%, they signed a class 33yo in Xhaka that will set the standards and the culture of the club, also adding improvements in most areas. For some reason SR don't seem to understand that signing some good young players for profit would be helped if they went in a team with experienced players who could elevate them.
-
We need to get Steven Peters in and spend the whole week unpacking the mental trauma of the last few years! This team needs mental coaching as they are so psychologically weak and fold quicker than Chinese laundry! I don’t get why SR make this so difficult, football is simple you need a decent keeper to stop goals going in your net, and a decent striker to score goals in the other net! The rest you can have above average players helping them out!

Two games in a row he has been in the right position so can't complain about that. The technique whilst there has let him Downs but it is early days and he will score a few this year I am sure.

I am not sure if it was all of your players or just coaches and backroom staff but they seemed to be settling in at the Village Hotel OK yesterday

Is there not a big fucking clue in the advert, that this is in conjunction with a Premier League scheme to encourage people from Black, Asian and mixed race backgrounds into coaching when they have finished playing. It is also a role that is split between Saints and the Premier League which includes being an ambassador for diversity in the game. The complete job role is below: https://saintsfc.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/SFC001/details/Academy-Coach--Coach-Inclusion---Diversity-Scheme-_RQ-031850 There is a link to the scheme as well on the PL website: https://www.premierleague.com/en/news/3952689 It is an attempt to encourage a pathway from playing to coaching which at worst will encourage applications.

Won't Solak just convert the debt to equity in the form of shares like every other club that gets around this problem!!
