The players are grown men who should be able to motivate themselves (I assume that is what the huddle is about) I just saw it as too many players below par on the day and seemed to lack energy. It was one of the most lethargic performances I can remember in a long time we weren't smashed by Sunderland but seemed to be doing just enough. I was ****ed off with team more than the manager and apart from the McQueen for Lallana change he made the right subs!

When push comes to shove, the team that played wasn't a bad team when the majority are playing well, the issue was that the majority didn't play well and an awful game was settled by an amazing finish. If we had started with Jay Rod, Cork and Morgan maybe things would've been different but they may all have played **** as well. No one looked like they actually wanted to be there and I don't think the manager can be blamed for that.

I think we went 4th a year later when we smashed Pompey 3-0 at home just before Christmas, two great memories to mix up though!!!!

Chelsea looked a level above us today and even though we had loads of possesion in the first half the way they defended was the best we have faced this season. There was no space to exploit and if it did open up it was closed very quickly. We did look very tired second half and this is the first time I've ever felt we could do with a mid season break in the Prem and that it would suit teams like us more than those with a deeper squad. Even though Osvaldo is a quality player I think the player that leads the line needs to be a strong pacy player, out of our budget but Lukaku would be perfect!

Could still be the Eagles or Chargers amazingly after that crazy finish to the last AFC wild card place!! How did the Dolphins go from 6th to 10th in the AFC!!

I'm sure there is a way of tracking it via the Pro-zone/OPTA cameras and feeding it to the referee on a watch BUT that would have to involve an extra official in a booth watching the game and a slight delay which could slow down the game. I don't think it could be fully automated as the rules are subjective

Played brilliantly in the 2002/03 season along with Oakley until he got injured, came on in the semi final against Watford and smashed a player with a beautiful tackle that led to the second goal!! Was **** after that but had his moments!!

Agreed, we just don't think or play the ball quick enough in midfield to take advantage of them. J-Rod was making some great runs in the second half as well.

The last four Superbowl winner were all the Eagles first home game of the season. The list is all the team that are playing at the Eagles next year. Also, all the NFC Champions since 2006 have beaten the Bills in the regular season (next years the Bills play the NFC South) Looking at that stat as well it looks like either: Chiefs or Chargers beat the Saints or Falcons in the Superbowl!!!!

The only way to make the season longer is for teams to play every other week, or for teams to have a few two week breaks during the season. OR make the roster 60 players. I think within the next two years we could be up to 4 or 5 games in this Country! Just had a quick check and according to the unofficial rule (of the last few years!!) that the winner of the Super Bowl is the team the Eagles play first at home, the only teams that can win next year are: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, San Diego, Arizona

Problem is we have three keeper all at about the same average level, all of whom can play at this level but not consistently. Gazza has an upside in that he is young and could improve given time but would benefit from a couple of years loaned out. When we had our best Premiership years we had a keepers of a much higher standard I would even rate Paul Jones much higher than the current three. I would personally loan Friedel in Jan to cover the last 5 months of the season, cut the Boruc contract and scout for a high level keeper for next season.

Had the same issue a few years ago but it was when Fulham were there. Easy to pick up tickets and didn't take too long. Not sure what happens to the originals but I am guessing there is a legit reason you don't have them and no one will try to use them

Good point, I haven't watched the old ones in a while, forgot about that and Belfast!! The last series and current one are excellent though they do slow down in the middle episodes!! The Shield is by the same writer and is a very good series based loosely on a true story I think I will give the Wire a go, if it is as good as people say
