Panic Saturday - Reports from the frontline

So apparently today is Panic Saturday.

Stores are slashing their prices in a bid to shift stocks.

Payday is finally almost here so you can afford to go Christmas Shopping or you simply left it too late and just reallised you need to go and buy the 1D DVD or Tracey Island (or this year's equivalent).

There must be some heroic tales of Survival, success against all odds, or simply horror stories of punch-ups in Aldi as the last bottle of Bubbly is fought over.

Make sure Tapatalk is working, Check the Credit Card status, ensure the First Aid Kit is to hand and get out there and give us pictures & stories from the front line!

can see why more and more shop online

plymouth city centre is horrendous this time of year.

far less parking available, and have to pay increased prices when you finally find somewhere

more pedestrianised areas and the shops are just more expensive than amazon/ebay

Mrs WG is stressed out over it all. In the interests of marital harmony and in keeping with the seasonal goodwill I shall be taking her shopping later today. I shall refuse to get involved in the mayhem and shall stroll calmly through it all merely letting it all flow past me and over me. I don't want a medal, I just see it as my duty as head of the family. And I want some turkey on Christmas Day.
