Gemmel Posted 21 January, 2009 Share Posted 21 January, 2009 Watch the Burnley tottenham match, rewind it and watch it again. That's the type of performances you going to need to put in for the rest of the season, to stand any chance.

Keep up FFS they go to spend "quality time" interacting with the physical dimensions that constitute the spacial entities that exist between a football and a killer pass... In English they spend 80% of their time playing tippy tappy passing games or mock football The rest? of course warming up and chilling down dude
rocknrollman no2 Posted 21 January, 2009 Share Posted 21 January, 2009 Why would the team want to go training? I thought that after every game they lose, they are given a couple of days off? If they started winning, this might change.

Minsk Posted 21 January, 2009 Share Posted 21 January, 2009 Is training ever open to the public any more? I know it used to be (was it on Tuesdays?) but haven't seen a post on here for a very long time of someone going along to watch.

Minsk Posted 21 January, 2009 Share Posted 21 January, 2009 They dont tend to like strange men hanging around schools during P.E. Quite understandable. I didn't think it would have anything to do with wanting to keep the new and revolutionary training set-up under wraps if they didn't still have them. After all, who would want to copy us? I was wondering in case someone could go along to find out exactly who this Kim van der Wilde fella was and what he does there.

Our players should be made to watch how Burnley a side with a mixture of experienced pro's and youngsters and no big signings play. A well organised, hard working skillfull passing team. Wade Elliott ex Bournmouth ran the midfield. Paterson showed how a forward can work non stop and make runs out wide and into the box (please watch McGoldrick) and Robbie Blake showed how to take a decent free kick as well as turn up in his own penalty area to make clearances. saintjay77 Posted 22 January, 2009 Share Posted 22 January, 2009 I wached some of that game and thought they had it in the bag for a bit. Was thinking that our team should make me feel the way Burnley did. But that hasnt happened since WGS. Just looks like the will to win is gone. Cant all be to do with confidence can it? Well done Burnley though nd gutted that they didnt dump ole saggy chops out of the cup. Think Bunley had 90% of the saints fans cheering them on for a while.
