"He told me that attacks on Palestinian villages last weekend were justified as revenge for the killing of the outpost's security guard. "I think now, after they killed one Israeli, we need to kill all the people in Tal and Sarra, even Jit and Farata," he said, naming the Palestinian villages closest to the outpost. I put it to him that he was equating one Jewish life with hundreds or even thousands of Palestinian lives. "No," he said, "millions. One Jewish life, it's 10 million [Palestinians]." Challenged on the racism of his statement, he did not deny it. "Yes, I know," he replied. "But this is the truth, because God chose us [and] because of this you are jealous."," Yes HAMAS need to be removed as a terrorist force, but until a way is found to deal with people like this there cannot be a lasting peace in the Middle East. I was just going to post it. I was just coming up with a SaintsWeb Sentence to show by linking to this dreadful loon's quotes, I wasn't endorsing it.

They’re revolting and a direct by-product of having a white supremacist government in the White House. One hopes once Trump is boxed in after November that Israel’s security and financial support is under review until their electorate pull their finger out and jettison the two Mad Bens. I doubt the Democrats have the bollocks to challenge them either sadly. 1

That extreme of Israel realise that this has turned out to be their best chance to essentially ethnically cleanse the area of Palestinians. Whether they justify it through revenge for conflicts generated through their encroaching settlements, revenge for the Hamas attacks, general racism or using a book. Whether those reasons are religious or for self enrichment through property grabs. They must be so frustrated that their government and the US were not extreme enough to remove Palestinians altogether, or have whoever remained surrender everything they own. They must look with disappointment at all those historic conflicts with one clear winner, and a wiped out or subservient loser. 1
egg Posted August 1 Author Posted August 1 It's interesting to note that those previously supportive of Israel on here have gone quiet. I hope that means that they now acknowledge that the behaviour of the IDF (in Gaza, West Bank, and Lebanon) is and has been an utter disgrace. 3

whelk Posted August 3 Posted August 3 No you didn’t. It was your rabid anti-semitic views desperate to give equivalence and/or deflection to a barbaric murderous Hamas attack on civilians. 3

If it helps, regarding the settlers, I wish the IDF would apply the same tactics to them ie shoot the fucking cunts.

Duck, in particular, has/had this belief that the Israelis are a peaceful lot, and that all would be well if their neighbours were more tolerant of them. Hypo got upset when I, rightly, described him as naive on the issue. On the wider issue, we've not yet seen the tip of the iceberg. 2
badgerx16 Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) Netanyahu has described the UK as "...the Islamic republic of Great Britain", and will be the first nuclear armed Islamic republic. This is of course incorrect, the first was Pakistan. Edited August 14 by badgerx16 1
egg Posted August 21 Author Posted August 21 Now turning up the heat in Syria. Chunks of the West occupied (plus Golan), attacks to the north, coupled with veiled threats to Turkey which Bibi has said is due to "security", but basically means Turkey will stop them doing what they want. So Gaza destroyed and occupied, the west bank being eroded daily, more settlements promised, southern Lebanon smashed up and occupied, western Syria occupied, and now teeing up for a scrap with Turkey. Fair play to Turkey for doing more than strongly worded letters, but the west beed to do more about this expansionism and behaviour.

They have a fair old army, and it is very technically advanced. They are not Iran mark 2. Oh, and obviously they're part of NATO.

Israel could attack any NATO country and article 5 wouldn't get invoked, and Turkey wouldn't have entered into the middle east defence pact if they had confidence in NATO article 5 support. Gloucester Saint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) I’ve always stayed well out of some of the Israel/Palestinian/Occupation threads as Ive never liked the Palestinian alignment with Hamas and Hezbollah (ergo Iran) but Israel’s behaviour is increasingly despicable https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj6482r6yl4o If their electorate won’t bin off their hard right government when the opportunity arises then I think it’s time to stop selling weapons there and giving them any assistance. They’re level pegging these days with the IRGC, Putin, and MAGA e.g. vile. Edited 6 hours ago by Gloucester Saint

Speaking in the run-up to closely contested Israeli elections next month, Ben-Gvir said the plan aims to see 250,000 Palestinians from the besieged enclave removed in the first year, followed by roughly 2 million residents over the next six years. “It’s realistic,” Ben-Gvir said, claiming there are countries “ready” to take them in without naming which ones. Under the Geneva Conventions, the forced displacement of civilians in occupied territory is considered a war crime". The root of the middle eastern issue is Israel, it's wish for expansion, and absolute refusal of a Palestinian state.

Until Trump gets stymied in the new year and turns his attention to Trump co asset stripping their country at a much faster rate, one thing we can do as a country is cut off any Zionist political funding from the UK, either directly to the current Israeli government and/or to American activists. If we can make Palestinian Action proscribed, no reason not to crack down on extremism on the other side. If the EU follows suit, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was discussed at today’s Anglo-Franco summit, then Ben Givr and at least know what the civilised west think of them. Obviously the main majority comes from the US NE Seaboard, but I can’t imagine the Democrat facing donors are too happy with the current government. If you go too far even for Trump and he considers they’re nutcases…. Edited 4 hours ago by Gloucester Saint 1
