I can’t remember which bit I edited - I was probably trying to ensure accuracy. I’m not a reform supporter as such Iprobably more of a conservative.

Eveb if I did vote for them doesn’t mean I agree with every policy. ILR shouldn’t be cancelled in cases such as your wife on the assumption she has contributed to British society through working and taxes and isn’t a criminal (I’m not making a disparaging comment I’m just stating some criteria which could void ILR)

You haven't given me the name - you just said Home Affairs Select Committee. That's just a site. Why won't you just send me the link? There is no power play here, you have quoted statistics based on something you've read, yet you won't post the site. Just asking you to post where you got them from.

Yes good win today back up to 4th I’d have liked to have gone today but missus has got a 100 quid M&S voucher so had to go to the big one in Leeds so she could spend all afternoon looking round that FFS. Don’t go much anymore as most of sons futsal games are on a Saturday and involves quite a bit of travelling to away games.

Youre justification is a perceived threat which means this radical jump in arrests is justified. I don’t think your explanation gets close to covering it. Hence why the police are being accused of being two tier.
 

I think those stats are misleading.

The BLM protests were generally peaceful, and over a short period - the arrests reflect the exceptions, and of course, when sudden outbursts in large protests could have been higher.

The illegal immigrant protests have been over longer periods, involved organised riots, setting fire to hotels, looting shops, and attacking mosques over sustained periods. Over 100 officers injured. 

There are people who will always join in for violent sport, get too agitated etc, across the spectrum however the nature of the EFL led right wing protests is violent criminals ( Tommy and Tommo) stoking crowds to make money.

Police and courts have a long history of right wing bias.

Breaking: Several men have been arrested overnight on suspicion of offences under the Explosives Act amid what appears to be a threat to RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, a major base for US operations in Iran.

The security posture has also been stepped up at US airbases in Suffolk, with an air ambulance denied access to Mildenhall airspace last night while returning to base.

It remains unclear who has been arrested and what stage the potential plot was at, but the police operation comes months after the IRGC made threats towards Fairford and the "British monarchy regime". 

This week, GB News revealed that American personnel at bases in Suffolk had not been made aware of plans to house small boat migrants at RAF Barnham. 

One councillor told me that when he spoke to some USAF officers about the possibility of unvetted Iranian migrants being placed near the base, "They had no idea about what was going on there. They had no idea what was planned for there."

Several Iranians who have crossed the Channel illegally have been arrested by counter-terror cops. 

The IRGC has claimed that it controls several smuggling routes and that covert operators have been moved into Britain.

So far the Trump administration has mentioned the RAF Barnham plans and the security risks it poses to the US airbases. But after these arrests and the major security shift, what will they think of potentially having unvetted Iranian migrants near to some of their critical bases?
