die Mannyschaft Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Not that many sold for Brighton. I suspect it will be a Brighton U21 team.

The last friendly is normally the run a round for the bench warmers.

saintant Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I'd imagine they'll rotate players to get as many minutes in them as possible so many of their potential first team will likely be on the pitch at some stage much as most sides treat pre-season friendlies. 1

Matthew Le God Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 8 hours ago, die Mannyschaft said: The last friendly is normally the run a round for the bench warmers. No it isn't. Clubs use it to play close(ish) to a starting XI for their first league game.

Saints won't in first as we don't have enough players to make a starting 11. Then 2nd half 7 subs. I really can't see Brighton putting a decent team out it's not like they will struggle against Saints.

Why would a team be worried about beating us in pre-season, when all they are trying to do is get themselves ready for competitive football? Both teams IMHO will start pretty close to what the manager thinks their best XI is. Ours will change before Wrexham with player trading.
gio1saints Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Good to see Saints using me as the poster boy for the Brighton Game in their latest online advertising. Might have to ask Matt to send me a copy if the positive comments I’ve had from those seen it are true. If anyone wants a signed copy from the official Saints poster boy for the Brighton match I’m happy to oblige. Be available to sign them in the concourse near the best beer place…🤣

There will be a decent crowd by kick off with late purchasers, Brighton brining a couple of thousand away fans, probably get close to 15k crowd I reckon not bad for a friendly
