Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted Sunday at 16:13 Posted Sunday at 16:13 Great knock but well and truly swung in India's favour now I reckon now Root's out too.
Gloucester Saint Posted Sunday at 16:30 Posted Sunday at 16:30 Time for Smith and Overton to be heroes. Siraj doing loads with the ball, incredible given the overs he has bowled.
egg Posted Sunday at 18:26 Posted Sunday at 18:26 (edited) Brook is some player. Not sure we've got enough sting in our tail to win this though. Bethel has had a poor game and left it all to Smith. Edited Sunday at 18:26 by egg

tdmickey3 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Good game but we should have won easily but once Brook played that silly shot it all turned sour

Criminal that he was in the team. And the shed load of extras conceded on their first innings. 3

The bowling is a quandry for the Ashes. I’d be tempted to use Archer lightly in the SA white ball series, Wood will have recovered but at 35 can he still bowl mid-90s? Woakes may retire if that’s a broken shoulder which it looks like. Overton looked rusty after little cricket for Surrey. Tongue looked both Dog and Duck and world class in his spells. Did a job on their tail more than once though. Cook looked 5-10mph short of troubling Test players. Atkinson taking the new ball in Perth barring a mishap is a certainty. How much can Stokes bowl in the winter? Dawson didn’t help himself not switching out of white ball mode at OT and then fielding at the Oval. Bashir probably starts but looked innocuous this summer.

Woakes injury is nasty whatever he's done. If it's a rotator cuff, it'll be game over sadly. I'm with you re the bowlers. Archer needs to be used carefully as he and Stokes are our best hope, but they're both made of glass.

Weston Super Saint Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago A drawn series was an appropriate result this time. Both teams have been fantastic and absolute dogshit in equal measure. There wasn't a clear winner. 3
