whelk Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Anyone do anything? Apparently cards for pets are on the increase.
Turkish Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Cards for pets FFS never been something that’s been on my radar over priced flowers and cards, or a expensive meal to try and get a shag, just cook me a steak and ill settle for a BJ

Also more money spent than at Easter and Halloween combined. For young lovers maybe but been married for years then CBA. Maybe pick up some ‘reduced to clear’ flowers Sunday morning Edited February 13 by whelk
Whitey Grandad Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Our special day was yesterday the 12th. It was 60 years ago on that Saturday that my wife and I first met at a disco in Barnet High Street only we didn't call them discos in those days. We were both still sixteen years old. Tomorrow my cruise is calling into Rio for the day. I don't know. Valentine's Day and in the middle of Carnival. How bloody inconsiderate 🙄 2
badgerx16 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 My wife's birthday is the 12th so we combine the 2 then, but she accepts she won't get flowers due to the inflated prices ( she prefers plants for the garden anyway, and we have a huge red rose bush in the front garden ). 1

SNSUN Posted February 13 Posted February 13 We never used to bother with Valentine's Day, as the anniversary of our first date is on the 20th. But after 20 years together she's been making hints this year and I've been with her long enough to pick up on those hints. So a card and a Chinese it is. Who says romance is dead. 🤪 2
