bangkoksaint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Just include the booking fee in the ticket price. I hate things like this, I usually look elsewhere if there is P&P when buying on the internet whereas if they just wrapped the price up its far more transparent. It's the UK however and its the job of everyone to rinse everyone else for as much as possible 2

I’ve got 3 friends in my account and I’m also hoping to be able to buy 4 tickets. It’s not clear what the mechanism is though for selecting them and buying them when I am limited to a single ticket.

If they are eligible at that time it shows up as bold otherwise they will be greyed out.

I was actually a bit surprised how easy it was this morning, got in just after 9:30, booked five seats all behind the goal in the slightly cheaper seats, got the booking confirmation a couple of minutes later and all done. Didn't look like many had gone when i logged in either. I'm sure the club will find a way to bugger it up closer to the game mind. What wax the process for buying multiple tickets given it is one per person? I have 3 friends added in my account and I’m hoping that will allow me to buy 4 in total. Wish the club would make it clearer!

It doesn’t seem clear what the process is.

That's my take anyway 😂 The booking fee basically covers the booking system software, the financial transaction processing costs, plus the maintenance of those systems. Unsurprisingly the provision of those elements of the service are not free, but they are a lot more efficient and cheaper than employing people to answer the phones to take orders and then mail out paper tickets.

At least when it is split out you can see how much each transaction is. The issue that you can't avoid here is that there is only one place to buy the ticket, so it's not a free market. Saints could charge £5 booking fee but we would all still have to buy from them. 2
Saint Garrett Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Was pretty easy this morning, I got in at 9:30 and seemed to have half the stadium to pick from. I did however panic, and ended up buying tickets considerably lower down than I had originally planned. Still scarred from Oasis ticket farce a few yeas ago.
trousers Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Anyone got a screenshot of what seats have gone / what seats are left, as things stand? Cheers 👍🏻

lambtiss Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Can anybody who bought tickets today confirm the process for buying tickets for others who are linked as family and friends on my account? i.e. can I buy tickets on their behalf at the same time that I buy mine, so we are sat together.

Yes. If you have say 4 eligible friends linked on your account you select your 4 seats in the stadium map, proceed then it will ask you to assign each seat to a customer number , drop down will show each friend account you can link to in bold. If the account number is not eligible (eg have already purchased or dont qualify to buy yet) then those numbers are shaded 1

A lot of lower tier gone but half the upper tier not available to buy yet and all the blocks that are available have around 500 left in each. I'd say we'd probably only sold 5k today. But I could be completely wrong. 1

My transaction was a complete mess, but actually managed to buy the tickets I thought I had bought but hadn’t a couple of hours later. 1

Not actually that many sold today, there will be loads of eligible season ticket holders with away credits holding back to buy with family and friends who are just members etc, its what we have in our group just waiting until Thursday. They haven't even opened half of the upper tier yet, same as play off final that will only open once we've sold other blocks first. You need to zoom into each block to see individual seats remaining but from what I can see main sales so far are lower tier towards halfway line and main 2 or 3 blocks behind goal dont have many left. Otherwise still loads in other areas. Upper tier hardly any sold so far , trying to upload a screenshot but Saintsweb not having it 1
bender Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Am I able to buy a ticket and when the ticket arrives on Saints ticket app, I can forward the ticket to someone else logged into the Saints ticket app who didn't qualify for a ticket

Just my opinion but I genuinely think after season ticket holders and members have had some priority to pick preferred seats just get them on general sale and get the ground as full as possible. Man City arent selling out so dont need to worry about them buying in our end. Also the 33,250 allocation is 'initial' and can be increased if we sell them. From Saints website (specifically about this game) "Tickets can be transferred to others though should not be sold. The selling of tickets is an offence under Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. Both the original purchaser and anyone the ticket is transferred to are both responsible for the actions of the person in that seat on the day. Any issues will impact the original purchaser moving forward"

Funny you should say that, likely Liam and Noel will be at the game in hospitality level so you might see Oasis at Wembley this time
