Thankfully no one on here is behaving like that 🤷♂️. But regardless, it is still perfectly legitimate to comment on the hole he has dug himself over spygate and with Eckert. Who do you think he has dug himself a hole with out of interest?

He is not hiding or pretending he thought something else for convenience, which is what you get from Talksport divs who just swing in the wind. What Blackmore is not saying at all, is that he would sack him now, so be careful what you are implying. Be careful

We have a good alternative in Bluesky but for some reason everyone prefers to stay on the fascism site 3

My thoughts at the time were it had plenty of toxicity itself. Possibly starting from a different viewpoint, but still containing loads of horrible folk spouting their extremism. Was that inaccurate, or has it changed? 3

The most annoying thing is his habit of re-living, outdated 2 minute long stories that have little to do with the game in progress and more than once he has been caught mid-sentence by the team being so inconsiderate as to score a goal. Best advice ever from legendary Kenneth Wolstenholme who once said " a commentator should comment on the game - when appropriate - and not get in the way." 3

Best advice ever from legendary Kenneth Wolstenholme who once said " a commentator should comment on the game - when appropriate - and not get in the way." Crucially, Kenneth was on TV and not the Radio. Personally I really like Adam and Jo - I always enjoy the highlights and the extended highlights on the club site with their commentary and it was quite a come down a few years back when for a season, if memory serves, they were replaced with some nameless generic voices, going through the commentary motions. As for adding in some anecdotes - fair play to Adam for finding a way of dealing with the endless recycling of the ball to no effect that was a feature of many of our recent managers. Having said that, it was quite humorous that for the Bristol City game this season, for both our third and fourth goal Adam is blabbing on about the same ex Luton player at length as the moves develop and only gets to interupt with “… and saints have scored another one” I did have his exceptional commentary for the 4th goal at Leicester as my ring tone for a while! I'm not sure "less toxic than x" is much of a bar though. The world's combined radioactive reactor sludge is less toxic than x, but I'd not want to sit in a room and have a chat with that either. 🙂 1

Ted Bates Statue Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago As it was a quiet one in the Chapel last week, I was able to don my headphones midway through the first half and listen to Solent's coverage of the Bolton match, although it was at least a minute behind due to internet streaming. Seemed accurate enough although many of us would have disagreed with Tessem backing the lino's offside decisions as he speculated whether we were disgruntled with the lino or the player. Maybe if Blackmore had gone off on a really big tangent it might have helped us score. As an aside, the recent Going Home episodes would seem to have made it clear that there was no issue with the original line of questioning. Massive storm in a teacup and Tonda clearly likes a bit of deadpan humour.
