It was a fair question, perhaps poorly worded with the use of the word “doubt”.  The team selection did raise eyebrows. Just look at the usual meltdown posts on the match day thread.

Tonda was laughing with him about three sentences later. It was a light hearted comment. I think it was what counts a joke in Tonda world - or at least I hope it was. 
 

Has struck me before that it is completely unacceptable for super-rich football managers (Morriniho was particularly poor) to put the precarious careers of journalists (no doubt with mortgages and families to support) in jeopardy with their bullying antics in press conferences.

Blackmore didn't mind putting Tonda's career in jeopardy though, did he? When we needed the local media to fight our corner, he was one of the first to line up behind Gibbo's Teesside campaign against Tonda.

Gets on high horse about someone "not knowing the facts" before the next sentence deciding that Tonda "doesn't like" Blackmore based on nothing.

I don’t think bringing Higgins up adds a great deal here either, I think a little classless from you.

Blackmore talking about how he would have sacked him is him at least show a consistency of view. He is not hiding or pretending he thought something else for convenience, which is what you get from Talksport divs who just swing in the wind. What Blackmore is not saying at all, is that he would sack him now, so be careful what you are implying.

Relegated clubs have 2 chances to get back in the Prem. In first those two seasons we get kicked out of the play offs and in the second we start off four points down. It's not great.

A dumb question (which begs the question why didn't he do 2 mins of prep??) seriously blown out of all proportion. Tonda dealing with it in a WGS fashion and people reading way too much into it. Blackmore then making himself look like a bit of a tit by harping on a out it on Adam and Joe.

Not on any high horse at all.  You can tell he’s not that keen on him by how he answers his questions versus Alfie and Saints club guy.  Again I’m only presuming. But I think that’s fairly obvious. 
 

Again … it’s not tasteless to bring up something that is far worse than what Adam & others I’ll add have said is the worst stain in the clubs history.  I’d say far worse things have happened and our own local journalist piling on a young man in his first job was at best poor form.  Again that’s my opinion. I felt that we needed to be united together. Adam isn’t one of us, he’s an employee of the BBC and that showed during the “scandal of the century”.  
 

He’s not saying he would sack him now because it’s bloody obvious that they won’t.  I for one felt the question was ok… but what I felt was daft was his continuing to bring it up and then be offended by others not liking his line of questioning. Bizarre behaviour from Adam and he’s let himself down tonight while trying to play the victim.
