Every time people doubt him, he delivers. This will be the same.

I do have to thank you & farmer though, seriously.

Every single innovation that SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, Starlink etc. deliver from here will make me laugh knowing how wrong you all were.

Going to make the next few years even more interesting.

So you think we'll have cars with thrusters flying about anytime soon? A simple yes or no will do.

Space Ex shares down 10.35% over the past 5 days btw. Tesla 6.82%.

Such is the excitement for rockets btw,  Rocketlab has dropped 24% over that period.

I don’t understand the Musk haters, I'm sorry, I just don't get it.

You can be on the side of sourpuss muesli munchers, doing nothing but creating bureaucracy getting in the way of progress and cool stuff, or you can be on the side of flying cars and supercomputers.

Obviously fishing if you've come out with not understanding why Musk gets a bad rep.

And then compounding it by name calling on the other side.

Will leave you to it.

On a related theme, and to repeat another unanswered question...do you think we'll have cars with thrusters flying about anytime soon? A simple yes or no will do.

I simply said the roadster will be delivered, I am sure the thrusters won’t go down well with government agencies.

Not sure why you pointed out the share prices of the last few days, is that supposed to be interesting?

Zoom out on the chart 😉

So you got excited about the tech of a car despite acknowledging that a car with that tech won't be delivered. Right you are.

I'm sure you can work out for yourself the point being made about Elon's businesses doing worse than the general market.

Bureaucrats always stand in the way of good ideas, it doesn’t mean they aren’t worth pursuing.

I get excited by anything that pushes humanity and technology forward.

They aren’t doing worse than the general market, the Nasdaq is dropping, the VIX is up and there seems to be a general liquidity crunch occurring. Which naturally means tech stocks take the hit first.

All you are doing is highlighting your trading inexperience

You want to bet that no customer receives a new Tesla roadster?

How much?

I want to bet that no customer receives the thing in the demo, sure, with rockets and flying ability.

500 quid?

He's already backtracked on the idea that the thruster / flying / hot wheels car will see the light of day.

I mean, they might make one or two and give them to people who will plonk them in a garage but the idea that the thing is a viable product is ridiculous.

all of this is R&D, working toward the ultimate goal of a multi-planetary society.

That’s just hilarious, the cunt hasn’t even managed to land on the moon yet - something the yanks achieved over half a century ago.

We might end up getting someone on Mars one day but Musk will be long gone by then. When we get there it will be just like the moon missions, we will realise there is no point and never bother going back.

If people like Musk used their wealth to sort out the many problems on this planet it would be a much better place.

Wrong again, genius.

But yeah, why would you think that's cool? Are you 7?

I bet you £10k to charity that you will not be able to buy a car in this country with rocket blasters by 2035.

Money where your mouth is.

If it's just a concept car, then this came out 30 years ago and is far, far cooler than your virginmobile...

You do realise the Tesla Roadster was delivered in 2008?

Zoom out on the SpaceX chart:

Wow, that's a bit rude isn't it? Showing your true colours aren't you?

So you gonna put your money where your mouth is, or is your bet that a car manufacturer will release a new car in the next few years?

1) “the cunt” is making space travel repeatable, instead of a state owned venture. This is revolutionary

2) False, we’ll get to Mars within musks lifetime. And we’ll begin to develop bases on the moon & mars

3) Dumb comment, musk is using his wealth to make the world a better place. He purchased Twitter and freed it from state capture. Made electric cars a usable technology. Curing brain diseases via neuralink.
The idea that a rich person can wave their hand and fix the world on their own is a child’s idea.

1. He might revolutionise space travel but it is essentially pointless compared to other issues.

2. I seriously doubt it considering how long it is taking him to even get to the moon.

3. I don’t expect any one person to fix the world but they can make a big difference if they are a good person (Bill Gates).

Again, you’re missing the point.

It’s not about being a viable product, it’s about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

If engineers never strive to create new things, then everything stagnates.

The point of this demo, like a SpaceX test flight, is to push boundaries. Anyone that has experience of designing complex engineering projects knows how difficult it is to make new things. And how you often learn more from failing than from things working first time. SpaceX have perfected that idea.

1. Why is it pointless? Who makes you the judge of what he should spend his billions on? Especially when his companies have already made a huge positive difference for the world

2. We‘ll see. Are you implying that getting to the moon is an easy task?

3. Jeffrey Epstein’s known friend bill gates is a good person? Lmao

1. Just my opinion. Space travel is obviously interesting and exciting, and the technological developments have benefits but I would value saving lives and trying to mend the environment over dicking about in spaceships.

2. Yes, compared to getting to Mars. More importantly it’s very very easy compared to getting off Mars which is what a mission would have to do unless it’s a suicide trip.

3. He had lots of friends.
