Griffo Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 I'd stick Euell back upfront again. Euell and Saga upfront with Mcgoldrick just in behind. Keep the back 4 the same

SoccerMom Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 Different one, please. Oh, well, it was worth a try. FWIW, I'd put Thomson on the right wing and not start BWP - he never does well when he starts. I'd start Holmes on the left, and maybe have Smith on the bench to take his place. Saints foreva Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 What the fans say isn't going to make a difference. We will have a useless team starting against Palace.
Window Cleaner Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 Does it matter who plays, they've all been tried, they're all as ineffectual as the others. Put the names in a hat and draw out 11, that's the team.As long as we don't have a bi,strong presence at the sharp end other teams will hit on us because they know that there is nothing to stop them. I'd drop Perry, thought he looked poor today.

Toomer Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 (edited) Toomer - bring em! You'd look like a 2 year old thorough bred in comparison! Me and Euell up front who would be the donkey. there are one or two of us on this board around my age that I know if we were 20 years younger we would make a better fist of it than some that are out there now. team-saint Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 Davis James Liptak Size Surman Thomson Euell DMG Skacel Saga BWP I'd drop Perry, thought he looked poor today. Yes Perry seemed pretty poor today but he has been easily our most consistent player this season and a real unsung hero for the whole season. Window Cleaner Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 Yes Perry seemed pretty poor today but he has been easily our most consistent player this season and a real unsung hero for the whole season. Not saying otherwise but from the 70 minutes of streaming that I saw he looked an absolute liability today. A central defender having a nightmarish game like that throws several spanners in the whole works. Against Charlton it was Saejis, today it was Perry, if the midfield aren't confident that they have a safety net behind them they don't always choose the best option for going forward, they choose the least risk option. saint lard Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 I know it's the wrong thing to say but i'm at the point of thinking that whoever we put out to play in the shirt just isn't good enough or upto the task. Any positive results we get from here on in will be down more to luck than judgment i fear.imo. Apologise for being so negative.

Pop over to Staplewood tomorrow morning & I'll take a good look at you. Might put you in for trousers as he's sure to get a yellow card after 10-15mins thanks to his gob! You're bound to have more ability & passion than Wotten, Surman, Smith, Lallana & Rudi put together...so you're in mate!
ottery st mary Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 Liptak and you will see why he will be going back to Hungary in a few weeks... Opinion on info recieved....but I am sure you posters will see soon enough.....You will find Wotte will not play him....He has seen him in training and that is why Liptak gets a couple of mins purely because of his height....Longshot but Dorchester are interested and will take Pulis , Moly and Smith as well. AlfredKo Posted 10 April, 2009 Share Posted 10 April, 2009 Davis James Size Perry Surman BWP Wotton Mcgoldrick Skacel Saganowski Euell We must score first to win the following games!!!! Stick Surman as left back who didn't do badly today and put Skacel which is our best passer and crosser as left midfield. Then we should have a chance to win!! But we do need to win against CP Do you think 4 straight wins are enough to avoid relagation? I hope yes. Also I hope Crystal Palace can do us a favour as they are mid-table and have nothing to play for. Plus I hope all the attacking players can suddenly find their best form again after Easter.
