Song for Lallana

How about a a Lallana version of the theme tune to the kids TV show "Bananas in Pyjamas"

Just a thought .

"lallana,lallana..

in pyjamas

coming down the stairs " ?

Good idea. But we'd better be a bit cautious in plagiarising this idea as the originator has previously taken someone to court in Australia !

Alternative and simple song just adapt Hey Jude: boring and repetitive but likely to catch on.

I've been giving this some thought actually and it occurred to me that "Adam Lallana" fits perfectly to the rhythm of "Lady Madonna" by the Beatles.

Unfortunately I didn't get much further than that - a few half baked ideas about "Flying down the wing" and "Doing his thing" or "Sitting in the hole" and "He will score a goal" - I'm sure you get the drift anyway if anyone is interested in working with it (or not!!!)

Only got 3 posts so here goes!

How about from "Theres no limits" (or lyrics depending on who you are..):

Lana, Lay Lay Lana, Lay Lay Lana, Adam Lallana... (repeated as many times as you like)

And if you want to ad a verse you could have:

Adam Lallana lets score us a goal,

Keep scoring for fun, from back in the hole,

Adam Lallana keep playing your role,

You are the best better than paul Scholes.

I'll get my coat ! :smt082

"I see a young Saint arising

I see trouble on the way

He has the pace as quick as lightning

He is going to score a goal today

Plays in Red n White

Will set the world alight

Theres Lallana on the right"

(for when he plays wider, natch)

On the subject of banana's, how about the Bananarama song:

La,la,la,la

La,la,la,la

Hey, hey, hey

La-llana

La-llana

Now that would be great! We used to sing that tune at the Dell in the early 1970s-

"La,la,la,la

La,la,la,la

Hey, hey, hey

South-hamp-ton"

Bananarama covered that song, anyone remember who did it originally?

Yeah I agree that one above is definately the best of the lot.

And that Kaiser Chief's one was f*cking abysmal lol. I found that so funny. He didn't even spell either of Kaiser or Chiefs correctly. That was truly terrible.

But seriously someone try and get that one going tomorrow

To be fair it was Karsey that I incorrectly spelt

As usual, Na na, Kiss 'em Goodbye rears it's ugly head. Just change the Na na, Na na to La Lallana, and Goodbye to Good Guy [or something better].

Easy to sing, and everybody knows the tune. So everybody sings it.

EDIT: Oops, I see someone has already suggested it [hangs head in shame].

From a different part of the Banana splits song...

"1 Lallana. 2 Lallana, 3 Lallana 4

C'mon Lallana score a goal

So Saints can win some more"

I'll get my coat...

No, go on, put a vid up on youtube of you singing it - at speed. That should make up for it....
