Brian O'Neil grabbed my balls on my way into the disco carriage on the League Liner train (anyone remember them, the 1st rail charters to have TVs and head phones), after the 0-0 draw at Man Utd in the 1973-4 relegation season. I was doubled up in pain on the floor, much to the mirth of my 'mates'.
Also I bade 'good morning' to Ron Davies at Central station, I was on my way to work at the Ordnance Survey and he was on his way to training with the Skates. A nod in reply was all that was necessary to make my day.
