  1. 1) Reading deserve to win the league. 2) We are the Arsenal of the Championship. We want to walk it into the net. 3) I still think we go up, but we always do it the hard way. 4). **** **** ****.
  2. Grow some balls people. We can beat Reading. It'll be a tough game, but on our day we're the better side. I'm going for 2-1. If they turn us over, they'll deserve to win the league having already won at West Ham and Brighton in the last two weeks. Still think we'll go up whatever the result on Friday. Simples. COYR
  3. Looking like winner takes all on Friday. Keep the faith. And laugh at WHU.
  4. Inevitable with SRL out
  5. Great result for us at Downturn Park. At least six points clear of third no matter what happens at Blackpool. And we've got Reading to come at home - shaping up to be a Championship decider. I think we'll beat them - but let's face it if Reading manage to win at West Hoof and at St Mary's within a few weeks they probably deserve to win the league. COYR
  6. Did he really say that? What an utter **** he is. Hello Mr Owner, I've just wasted millions of pounds of your pornography profits on buying players who aren't good enough. Doh!
  7. No way they'll win three away games in a week after playing Leicester. We need to look after ourselves and the rest will take its course.
  8. They still have to travel to Saints, West Ham, Birmingham and Brighton. If they keep winning they'll bloody deserve to go up. Still in our hands though. Lovin' that goal difference.
  9. Positives. We didn't lose. Pompey are bottom. No-one got injured. Billy Sharp has to score soon. As others have said though - beating Barnsley kinda matters. And hopefully Nige Pearson will put a rocket under Leicester leaving them something to prove next up against Reading.
  10. Rickieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  11. Fantastic. Thanks from the far flung few who didn't get to see it. Oh ****ing hell yes!
  12. Thank you Sir Rickie. Love that man. And let's not forget an old flame. Do do do do do Dexter Blackstock. Nice one Dex!
  13. Robert Plant when we played Wolves once. He was eating a burger, and I said pass the ketchup.
  14. No such thing as an easy run in. It's going to be tight as a gnat's chaff - but I really think we can do it. Wish we didn't have Pompey in April though - it always becomes a distraction. And we've got bigger fish to fry (see what I did there) than beating the Blue Few.
  15. Huddersfield sacking Lee Clark. After 3 defeats in 55 matches. Absolutely f@cking mental. Developed a bit of a soft spot for the Town after our epic battle with them to finish second last season, and was a bit gutted when they didn't make it through the play-offs. Proper football club, and I wonder what their fans make of this?
  16. This. No need to be loyal if he was rubbish. He isn't. He's one of the most highly rated young managers in the country. He's being tested a bit at the moment - let's show him some support.
  17. Yeah, but i'd like them to stay at St Marys. I saw both Theo and AOC on their debuts and remember that ridiculous goal Bale scored at Derby when he was about 13 and a half... Now we're at the top end of the Championship rather than in League One I hope we'll fight really hard to keep hold of Shaw and others. AOC was never going to stay while we were in League One and not certain of going up. Now we can at least see the Prem just above us.
  18. Burnley. But can we buy a win at the moment? COYR.
  19. More interested in Burnley game already. Having only won two from ten in the league, we just need to beg steal or borrow three points this weekend. Five nil with Lambo and Sharp scoring a couple each with a late Kelvin header when he's up for a last minute corner would be nice. But I'd settle for a scrappy one nil deflected goal off a defender's @rse to be frank. Happy to beat Millwall too of course!
  20. Very happy to give Punch a chance but let's face it - none of us would be that surprised if he flounces off again in three weeks and refuses to sit on the bench. So I still wouldn't mind a speedy wide man. CF totally depends on how well Lee fits in - different system, difference language... could be a masterstroke sealing promotion or (at least for this season) a bit of a non-event. Still think a CB is the main priority. Long term injury to either Jos or Jose leaves us in trouble. Heard v good reports about the Birmingham lad Butland but never seen him play.
  21. Just issued by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. Wash your mouth out son...
  22. Tough little four game run coming up after the break. Derby away, West Ham home, Reading away, Boro at home. If we're still top after that lot I'll be well pleased. And I think we can do it.
  23. Song for Lee Holmes? Oh Holmesy Holmesy You always used to be injured But now it seems you're not
  24. We love you Corky we do We love you Corky we do We love you Corky we do Oh Corky we love you We hate Pompey We hate Pompey We hate Pompey You're **** aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!
