Hopefully, the midfielders did not have confidence in Long and Gabbi but now have more confidence in Austin. Hopefully, the midfielders (e.g. Redmond, Boufal and Tadic) were not selfish or were previously selfish but now realize that their shooting is at least not better than Austin and is now more willing to release the ball to Austin when Austin is in a better position to shoot.

MoPe starting with a few 2nd team players like JWP, Austin, PHE was to let Long, Redmond and Gabby to play Manchester City on this Wednesday. This result surprised him and disturb his plan.

Auatin is a proven goalscorer who has been proved to be able to score more than dozen in a season. MePo did rate him or give sufficient chance to him to improve his sharpness after injury. Instead, he gave to Redmond and Long which proved to be a disaster. The problem with only one striker is that the opponent would find it easy to defend as no one can score except the striker. The solution now before January is to sack the manager as soon as possible and find a manager who can find a better formation to utilise Austin and Gabb.
